new valve stem assemblies for the sensor since the assemblies are meant to be one time use only. I think I was quoted 25assembly from the dealer. When I put the Kleemann wheels on my wifes cls I bought a new set of complete sensors just so I could easily switch the OEM wheels back for winter. Heres where I bought the sensors wvalves. (This guy also has just valve assemblies as well). eBay Motors mercedes
Thanks so much
What makes the assemblies one time use only And how do you know if your wheel accepts the sensors or not I just bought a set of Renntech 20s for my 08 cls and wondering what I need to do to get them on without error lights.

To be clear its only the 10.00 valve assembly thats one-time use only. The actual TPMS sensor is good to use as many times as you want until the
The factory parking sensors are so mediocre I hardly rely on them. I never noticed them muting the radio.
If the brake pad warning light is not on you can reuse the old one. There is one on the front right. Squeaking brakes does not necessary mean you need new brakes. You should visually check pad thickness and measure the rotor.
Youre driving a seventy thousand dollar car and concerned about paying 8 for a wear sensor The wire can get brittle over the years and heat cycles. Just change it. And please buy quality parts. The whole reason of doing it yourself is so that you can buy good stuff because youre not paying the stealer 400 in labor. Good luck.
This is not to save 8. I just wondered if the front has wear sensor or not or how many...Thanks. I checked rotors and pads and they look pretty worn out.
Go to a MB dealer and they will tell you how many sensors you have based on your VIN number. For instance my cls has 3 brake pad sensors 2 on the front and one on the back. Also front sensors are different. Bought all 3 sensors from the dealer and paid around 16.I am sure you can afford this
A Backup camera for 1710 installed They are jerking your leg. You can get the whole system for less than 300. Unless you are trying to get it tapped directly into your OEM screen on your command I see no way it could cost that much. It would be directly into my OEM screen. They would send the radio out to NAV TV and install a kenwood camera in the back. Still seems like too much money though. Quote includes 9 hours of labor at 80 an hour.
I looked up the camera and without looking too hard saw one sell for 150. Amazon.com Used and New Kenwood CCD-2000 Rear-View Camera I looked up NavTv and their prices seem high on a lot of their products. Only thing I can say is try going to another shop and getting 2nd quote for identical kit. Also visit NavTvs forum 2008 mercedes cls 550 back up camera system. and maybe create thread about this exact

This seems a little pricey to me have any of you done the aftermarket camera or sensors If so what was your cost Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What about a backup camera Costco has one but dont know if its good and you can install it yourself.

The W140 and W219 are shared by both my father and I. I am 30 and he is 65...would you not let your old man drive a sweet new car And as for that comment I know my people. I dont know if this will help but in my 07 cls550 it used to come on all the time even after I inflated my tires. I went to my local Discount Tire and they checked it out and found out that one of my tires had a patch that was coming apart that let out enough air to set off the sensor. They fixed the patch and it didnt come on again. You also will know if you have TPMS sensors by looking at your valve stem. If its metal you have the sensors. If its the black plasticrubber stem you dont.
Parktronic was a 1110 option (Code 220) on the 2007 cls550 and has sensors in the front bumper cover. Below is a link to Genuine mercedes Parts and you will see that they offer a bumper cover with and without Parktronic. If you already have Parktronic then you need a bumper with the sensor holes. The bumper is also different between the base model and the two AMG varieties (base with AMG Sport Package and AMG model). Genuine mercedes Parts
Is the Check Engine light on Do you know if this is a stored code or current code When was the last time you read the codes on your cls Theres four oxygen sensors on your model. One before the Cat on both sides and one behind. I cant remember which one is sensor three. On DAS Xentry (mercedes Diagnostic Software) you will get more detailed information than the standard OBD codes.
Keyless entry is a no cost standard feature on even the 250. Check out the MB website folks. I go to the same dealer for service with no problems. I was one of the first to buy a cls 500 in the D.C. area and I have no complaints. It is probably one of the best vehicles that I have ever owned and it out performs all of the vehicles that I have ever owned. Herb Gordon should take care of the brake problem but you cant blame them for bent wheels which might cause the sensors to go off. If this
Hi. I have a cls 55 AMG. When I bought it I was driving a Toyota Camry. The Camry had excellent vision all around. I too thought the vision in the cls would be a problem but after a day I was completely used to it and would not now say it has any vision probs out the rear. Especially with the parking sensors. I find I dont even need to look backwards when parking now as you can see the rear sensors
