MAZDA 6 I GG GY 6 Diesel engine cutting out

I have had a problem with the engine cutting out when cold although it starts perfectly and does not happen until coming to a stop a short distance down the road.This has now started to happen intermittently when the engine is at normal temperature when coming to a stop.Because the problem involves a cutting out engine nothing registers as a fault when the garage diagnostic equipment is attached and they say that because of this they will not be able to find the problem.Any ideas out there

drive it like your grandma for 5 minutes and then tell you it drives just like any other 6. I had probs with my 1st 6 it was like the clutch & accelerator were sometimes connected with rubber bands instead of cablehydraulics. My dealer almost had me believing I didn&39t know how to drive. My 6s threw an engine light warning the other day. I took it down to the local auto zone today to get it scanned. The guy there told me that I have to go to the dealership to do this because the car is to new. I have a 2004 so I doubt that is true. Has anyone else had their cpu scanned at a local auto parts store

Out the front means complete but youll be recharging the AC which is likely due for fresh oil and 134 anyways. Kinda depends what you have at your disposal. hi one day it was raining really hard and i happen to run over a puddle then my CEL came on. i brought it to the shop that i normally goto and they said theres no communication and that the equipment they have might not work with the the mazda6 and that i might have to take it to mazda. i would like to avoid taking it to mazda if possible. i was just reading up on a thread and that CAI might cause a CEL. why would a CAI cause the CEL to come on i have a the fujita CAI btw.

Hey there all this is my first post but have been lurking since I bought my 6 last year. It is a 2005 6s ATX. Anyway I have had no problems until a couple of day ago. I was heading home and turning at a stop light when I gave it gas and there was no revving when I stepped on the gas. The car stayed on and in D but no acceleration. I stopped and turned the car off and cranked it back on and get a CEL.

I own a 350z and i was looking on the forums at boring out the engine. they are doing kits for it from 3.5 liters to go to 3.8 and 4.2 liters pretty crazy. what kind of power could be made if we bored out our engine to say 3.2 or 3.5 liters is it possible for us it&39d be a great source of NA power.

if that is infact a correct statement if you have all of the right equipment how much would larger pistons cost EDIT I did a 10 minute quick search on the internet and new forged pistons for a v6 engine would be anywhere from 150 to 350 dollars.. im not a pro on this but if we could get our cars to run at 3.5L&39s couldnt we just use pistons from the new duratec engine coming out Nissan&39s 3.5L pistons

Ide personally buy the parts and have them shipped to you. Ive gone the prebuilt engine route and ill never do that again. I good tip to find a good engine builder is to log onto a local racing forum and ask the guys on there who is building the best race engines and then goto the shop and talk to the guy and check out his equipment and actual race experience. Thats how I found mine and I am very happy with him and he isnt listed in the phone book and works out of his back yard.

MAZDA 6 I GG GY 3.0L engine failure

huh Brand new 6s 5mt delivered with 420miles. It seemed to have a tamer exhast note at mid to high RPM and a little less power than the vehicles on the lot that I drove - not very noticable. At 820 miles at 55mph I quickly lost power and engine died within seconds. Initial diagnosis is the valvetrain and engine is FUBAR. I had the car for 3 frickn days Im trying to decide what to do. Anyone else hear of similar issues The left front strut tower had a sticker Intake campain with dates.

Thanks for the feedback. Ive never had to look into the lemon law. I aways thought you had to have repeated problems with the same issue. I really feel that they should replace it. So I recently heard a noise coming from the engine. It is intermittent and only has happened once that the noise changed like it does in the video. Usually it is only that high pitch tone. MAZDA 6 I GG GY Injen CAI install issues

I recently bought an Injen CAI for my 2004 mazda 6s mtx and have been having a few issues since the install. Just to start off this is the only mod that I have on my car. I installed it exactly as the instructions indicated but my car started having a very rough idle (bouncing between 500-1500 RPMs) intermittent stalling sluggish response and some popping from the engine.
