FIAT DUCATO Ducato Immobilizer old key

Hi The car is ducato JTD 28 (2003). There is a module 8 (Code2 immobox Delphi) inside with serial Eeprom 93LC56B SMD package. The keys are using Megamos Crypto ID48 transponder chips which are known to be non re-usable ones (locked crypto transponders). There are lots of key programming equipments and tools (eg. AD900 ProAD90 or AD100T300MVPSBB) as well as those blank tranponderskeys in the net. But

The old keys can be coded in along with the new one when recoding the key memory is cleared probably as a security measure so that lost or stolen keys cant be used. All keys must be present at coding time. As you say the ad900 or sbb should do it. I reckon if you explain to the fiat place you took it they might do it cheap. duncker thanked for this post

Hi Corkman I think you are absolutely right. Recoding procedure will take all keys out of memory as a security measure. So if the old key can be used again by recoding the immo ecu you can do this with ONBOARD KEY PROGRAMMER like SBB or AD100T300 etc. So you wont need any Key copy equipment like AD900 I guess this ONBOARD means cable between EOBD and Key Programmer so that you can tell to eeprom which

FIAT DUCATO Puzzling stalling problem

My 2002 ducato 1.9TD camper has an occasional problem with stalling shortly after starting for the first time in the day. Last year during a weeks holiday it happened on two successive days then was fine for the rest of the week. Each time it happened the van just lost power and as soon as I declutched the engine stopped. After coming to a standstill I restarted it and it was fine for the rest of the

FIAT DUCATO Interfering signal

ducato passenger van. The engine fires up at first try - numerous times and runs great for whole day. Absolutely no troubles and no warning lights whatsoever... But every time in the middle of the trip on a specific spot - city center when i give contact red injector light flashes along with orange CODE light When i try to turn on the engine it just cranks to no end. Pumping the throttle doesnt help.

FIAT DUCATO Imobilser

Hi Guys After a little help with the imobiliser fitted to my 2003 2.0JTD ducato. Im wondering how I will know if I have an issue with it - how exactly does it stop the engine from starting is it something to do with the fuel electrics etc I dont have an issue with it as yet but every now and again I get an imobiliser warning light come on

the engine the ecu does nothing no sensors are read no actuators are actuated. The fuel circulating to return is because the pressure regulator is not operating. Its like if you remove the CPU from your computer it will turn on and flash or beep that theres no CPU but thats all it does. The only thing you can DIY without a lot of knowledge and specialist equipment is clean the contacts on the immobilizer

FIAT DUCATO Lost a key

Been quoted silly prices to replace my key not remote just central locking wheres the best place to get one.

If you can remove the immobilizer and boot lock we can cut a key and program it to the box.

FIAT DUCATO Have I an immobiliser

I have a 1999 fiat ducato 2.8 with a Hymer motorhome body. We bought it secondhaned and were given three keys one Burgandy the other two Blue. The Burgandy key is supposed to be the master key for doing thing but the part of the key you hold has a slot for a coin or fingernail to open it up which we did only to find theres no battery in the space where it seems one should go. I cannot ask the previous

I didn&8217t explain the Burgundy key very well. Inside it there is a space for a battery but no contacts for one no wiring at all. There is a very small thing that looks how you imagine a &8220phone bug&8221 to look like but it&8217s not connected to anything. How do I tell if the immobilizer is working or not

FIAT DUCATO Starting problems.

I have a 2007 swift bolero fiat ducato 2.3 td 130 multijet Motorhome. I ave been having a terrible time starting it and have put new glow plugs in new glow plug relay and yet the problem persists. I started this evening (eventually ) after about 5 minutes of continual cranking of the engine. In total I probably cranked the engine 5 times and then it fired up. I always depress the clutch and do not
