This looks aposite. Id begin by visually inspecting the wiring to the MAP sensor.

Sand b - do you think your being helpful
Replace the MAP is the obvious thing. Easy DIY.
fingers99 - thanks for your answer
i wouldnt coz they aint cheap i would do live data first followed by an emissions test and if map still came up as out of parameter then i might change it of course there are two types too
I had the map sensor replaced and the problem appeared a little better and then the clutch seized and ruined the gearbox. I have now had a new gearbox whole clutch and flywheel replaced. Picked the car up yesterday took it out for a run today and the same error has been reported. Does anyone have an suggestions

it empty and I managed to connect to the ECU immediately. Subsequent connection attempts were sometimes successful with relay T09 re-inserted and it would stop clicking as soon as connection was made. Then other times it would only connect if I removed relay T09. Anyone got any ideas about this Secondly when I managed to connect to ECU I got Invalid ISO Code error once connected. I used the fiat

I have had a light from the dashboard on and being told to check engine. Now I have looked into the owner manual and it says injection system failure or eobd system failure. Now am already waiting on the car going into the garage for body work repair after a smash. Has anyone got any idea on the main problems behind this light coming on and repair costs. Would it also be best to go to a fiat
i have a punto 1.2 petrol reg X. the injection system failure warning light was on so I took it to a local garage. checked for fault codes on ECM Problem P0351- ignition coil fault p0105 - man pressure sensor Garage told me they replaced spark plugs and substituted new coils but no different. Most likely cause in an ECM (engine computer fault). he suggested I take it to a fiat dealership but it might
Hi got a fiat scanner on it today and got the following P0505 Idele control sys The reason for this fault is that ECU did not receive signal from the sensor P0120 TP SenorSwitch The reason for this fault is that ECU has received very high signal from the sensor p0105 MAP BARO Pressure The reason for this fault is that ECU has received very low signal from the sensor. P0110 Intake air temp The reason for this fault is that ECU has received very high signal from the sensor
p0130 - O2 circuit p0135 - 02 lamba heater circuit p0141 - o2 lamba heater circuit p0105 - Map Sensor p0110 - intake air temperature sensor bank 1 So basically its saying the lamba sensor is at fault based on engine temperature Why does my little toe say it could be a coolant sensor issue Clear codes - id disconnect the battery leave it overnight - reconnect in morning go for a drive so that it warms

Hi All An update to this post. I brought a second hand MAP sensor off ebay and fitted it last weekend. My mpg has now increased to 36-40 mpg which is great. However my engine management light has come back on again after about 100 miles. This is the codes from my OBD-II reader at 300 miles U1702 undefined code p0130 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank1 Sensor1) p0105 (MAP) Manifold Absolute Pressure
So we have got some error codes back from the diagnosis machine It says that the air intake temprature and barrometric pressure sensor is failing Error codes are p0105 and P0110 We are currently getting help to see if we can find this part locally.. but a solution that goes without this may be still required. Amazing how such a small thing can cause so much problems.

P0606 - ECMPCM processor fault - Baically ECU fault p0201 - Injecter circuitopen Cylinder 1 p0105 - MAP sensor error U1600 U1601 - Can Bus errors - usually related to the Key not been detected U codes are pending codes - ie they dont exsist as such So my words of advice make sure the battery is fully charged OFF the car the Earthing terminal on the throttle body (under airbox) is clean and tight Since
ok do you remember if the code it gave when you disconnected it was p0105 or p0109 Alan
Buy a reader of ebay...... Is the best answer your going to get that light can come on for one of the following reasons.. P0100Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction P0101Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit RangePerformance Problem P0102Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input P0103Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input P0104Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Intermittent p0105 Manifold Absolute
sadly there is no way on earth anyone can guess whats going on .... the OBD2 code outputs (dependent on the car) can be a wee bit long...... Until you have the code read no one can second guess as it could be one of these P0001 Fuel Volume Regulator Control CircuitOpen P0002 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit RangePerformance P0003 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit Low P0004 Fuel Volume Regulator

Hi Alan The fault code came up as p0105. Do you think its worth replacing the wire I cleaned the throttle valve before and it seemed to do the trick but unfortunately started playing up again. Im picking up a second hand throttle body from the scrapper and replacing it. Cheers Brian
Hi almost irrelevant now Im afraid as the car is to be collected for scrap later this week.... but after much head scratching the softwares installed the cable connected and despite a wrong ISO message I got a fault code of ... p0105 - Pressure Sensor. and info notes about an anomaly in the pneumatic connections to the sensor or leaks in the depressure circuits... will try and post a screen grab but what does this fault code stand for Soz know nothing much about anything at all Thanks v much...
