VOLKSWAGEN JETTA Jetta Sportwagen Unveiled at New York Motor Show

I know what most of you are thinking But its a wagon D VW has unveiled its new jetta SportWagen a sporty and dynamic wagon version of the sedan at the New York motor Show. The jetta SportWagen is only destined for the American market. It is basically a rebadged version of the Golf Variant which recently went on sale in Europe. The SportWagon will be offered with three engine variations an upgraded

EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THIS Please dont buy here This dealership scammed me. I purchased a 1988 VW GTi from them. It is the owners sons car they said. So I figured it would be a safe one to buy. After I purchased it I drove it twords home and realized the odometer dident work the car has no catiletic convertor no brake lights hail damage no interior improper seating that was barley bolted in the car

We read with great interest about the purchase of an ™88 GTi through our dealership by Riceless. It might also be of interest to forum readers to read some of the details he left out. Those details were certainly enlightening to his States Attorney General whose office closed his complaint within 24 hours of receiving our response. Prior to his purchase we exchanged emails made phone calls and sent pictures. We told him that the car had been an autocrosser that the original interior bad been removed that it was owned jointly by the dealership owner and his son and that any sale would be as-is. He arrived one night after we were closed inspected the car on our lot and got a motel. The next day he inspected the car again drove it and met with the dealers son to discuss the car and its history. Virtually everything he is now complaining about was either disclosed to him or was obvious to him. The seller agreed to give him the original interior parts including seats and RiceIess agreed to buy the car as-is. He stayed overnight again while the car owner collected up all the interior parts to give him. The following day he looked the car over again paid for it and received an assigned title from the owners of the car. That title showed the owners of the car to be the dealer and his son as represented to Riceless from the start. The distributor problem he claims was unknown to the seller who has offered to replace it at no charge or reimburse him 100. Riceless has purchased a car used in autocross competition with modifications made for that purpose and he understood that. He inspected the car thoroughly test drove it as long as he wanted and had a conversation with the cars owner to find out anything else he wanted to know about it. In the end he chose to buy it as-is and now he doesnt want it. What we have here is a case of buyers remorse in a well-informed buyer who does not want to accept his part of an as-is purchase. His depiction on this and other forums as the hapless victim of a scam artist is at least ludicrous. We will let forum readers reach their own conclusion and let our attorney decide if his implications have reached the level of slander. Vorderman volkswagen

I love it when everyone one the website excercises their right to state their opinion on whether others should have excercised their right to state their own opinion Then to top it all off everyone on the site claims that no one ever uses the site. VOLKSWAGEN JETTA just bought a 97 2.0L jetta TREK few questions

ok this jetta was just purchased for my girlfriend and i have a few random questions to ask the people that would know the answers to them. 1) how do i replace the steering wheel on it 2) what does TREK mean aside from the sweet seats 3) the clutch is super easy to push in could this be bad (cable clutch) 4) shifter is offset to the right and i can push it really hard left into reverse without having

VOLKSWAGEN JETTA 2000 Jetta trunk stuck closed after using WD-40 on struts....

My 2000 VW jetta GLS trunk was getting quite hard to lift up and very stiff compared to when I got it in 2002. So I thought it was a good idea to srap some WD-4O on what i think are the struts. The arms that connect the trunk door to the actual body of the car. So after spraying the WD-40 i lifted the trunk up and down a few time and shut it closed. About 4 days later i tried to open it and it is stuck

VOLKSWAGEN JETTA Hopeful future Jetta owner.

Hey guys Im new to the forums and new to VW and their jettas. My 98 Buick Regal LS was wrecked 3 weeks ago due to some drunk driver plowing in to my poor parked car. I was settled with 8100. I dont know alot about cars I dont know about whats out there besides what I see. Ive been looking at alot of models of cars from Camrys to Accords to Camaros and 240sx. My dad wanted me to get something reliable

you sound like you could take care of it just fine. Just like chainging the oil the air filter fuel on just follow the service manual. as per the performance i meant like if you wanna spend more on mods you should get the vr6 to turbo it and such or you can get a 1.8t and youll run into getting as much power as you would a VR6T but itd be decently easy to get like 250hp or more to the wheels.

I cant tell you whats differnt on the mk 3 wolfy but on the mk 4 its the seats steering wheel and shifter suspension and wheels. If you get a mk 3 get a VR6 i dont really dig on the 4-cylinders before the 1.8t. If you get a mk4 get something after 2001 cuz the 1.8t gets a 30 hp increase. As far as power goes each car(GLS Wolfsburg GLI 337 20th) all have the same power. Its the 1.8t. what makes the

VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT B7 MotorWeek Road Test 2012 Passat

motorWeek did a nice review of the Passat 2012 - caught it on TV last night. I thought it looked pretty good will need to see up close to be convinced. motorWeek really liked the TDI - why wouldnt they. Here are their closing remarks We think the 2012 volkswagen Passat is well engineered to successfully make the transition. Its roomy affordable and can drive rings around Camry and Accord. We like it a lot. motorWeek Road Test

Hello Ive had my sweet fully loaded 79k2002 jetta 1.8T for about a year. There was severe flooding in my neighborhood and my car was flooded. Water rose up to about 34 of my rims and there was about 6-8 inches of water on the floor. My car remained submerged for 12 hours. The water level was about level with the bottom trim. Meaning when I opened my door water wasabout to spillout. Under Illinois law

Hey Gang I have taken the liberty of compiling a list of terms that we commonly see in the world of volkswagenAudi Group or volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft (VAG) cars. Most of these terms include those that are VAG™s own internal names andor wording jargon that comes from popular sites like ClubB5 (CB5) and Passat World etc. as well as general car terms that we use for cars other than those made by VAG.

No turbo noise engine subdued when cruising. Interior - Plenty of room. Added thigh support in both front and rear seats is nice. I want to start with simple things I have a couple of questions hopefully you guys with more expirience can solve or help me with this.

Vag-com is a very powerful and useful too to have for your passat. I would highly recommend getting one. You will also need it to enable the fog lights if you want them to be controlled the same as when they were OEM Some modifications i would recommend 1.) VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT B6 B6...big Disaapointment

What a disappointment The key qualities that attracted me to buy my 2001.5 B5.5 seem to have been excised from the B6 (i.e. tasteful handsome & pure shape high qualify down-to-businessfunctional interior fun-to-drive wsolid simple mechanicals etc). So unless these pics are terribly wrong it looks like Ill be looking elsewhere when my lease expires in a couple of months. This new Passat looks like just

VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT B5 Fuel pump access in 2003 wagon

Ive been thinking about replacing the fuel pump in my 2003 passat wagon. 1.8T FWD. Couple of questions. 1. Is the access spot to the top of the pump the same as it is in the sedan Ive read through the procedure at it looks like they did that work on a sedan. Was just wondering if its under the rear seat for the wagon as well or somewhere in the cargo area 2. Once the fuel pump is out will

a4s as the rear suspension is completely different. The access cover for our pumps is on the passenger side in the trunk just behind the back seat. Pull up the trunk carpet and youll see a black access panel with 3 phillips head screws. Open that up and then it should be the same procedure as the a4 for removalinstall. Just a rumor I heard from the guys at 034- you may or may not have a mk4 (gtijetta)
