TOYOTA YARIS Yaris Switch knobs (HVAC)

Hi Im thinking of changing my cars AC control knobs to the ones you have there for cosmetic purposes only. The differences I saw are the following no AC switch button on the air flow direction 2 airflow directions as compared to 5 of yours (this is fine as this is for purely cosmetics) temp control is 5oclock for coldest while yours is for the warmest (also ok i would assume) is it a possible swap and would the AC button light up or even work TIA. TOYOTA YARIS Shift Knob for automatic

I have a yaris sedan automatic. The shift knob is so plain. Will any other scion or toyota shift knobs work on it Louie

Bought a shift knob that stated for Manual Shift Only on the package. With the yaris there is no button to press on an automatic shift in order to change gears. So most any manual shift knob should work in this application I would think. Here is a photo of what I switched to from the stock knob. This knob is held in place with 3 set screws. Regards

TOYOTA YARIS My air circulation switch just broke

Well something on my yaris was bound to break eventually. At 91000 miles the first issue happened today. I went to switch the insideoutside recirculation switch and there was an unusual tension to it. Without thinking twice I gave it a little more pressure and it just let go. The switch is just a loose piece now and I heard the directional parts within the dash make an odd noise during the time a lightly

I had the same problem with the climate control selector knob (top right the one with the AC button in the middle) cable slipping off. I repaired it twice myself but the cable is fraying now. I can get the part but does anyone have diagrams or pics of the exact location where the module plugs into the blower stack Thanks

TOYOTA YARIS Custron T1062TYT Review (Long)

Review of the Custron T1062TYT Touch ScreenDVDGPS Head Unit A couple of months ago I was driving through town in my &821706 toyota yaris when suddenly the radio station I was listening to started to cut out and the radio went dead. Talking to my local toyota dealership revealed that a replacement radio would start at about 400 if they could take in the original head unit and up to 1700 if the original

TOYOTA YARIS DIY Unlink AC from Defroster

My first DIY post. Total Time 7 mins (if you know what youre doing) 20 mins (if first time opening the dash) 2 hours (if youre have two left hands or missing your opposable thumbs) Tools Small flathead screwdriver to disconnect wire harness and push in the little clips that holds the plastic pieces together. (But not required. I could have done it with my keys or just my fingers.) Follow instructions

TOYOTA YARIS Help Needed Unlink AC to Defroster

I dont like the way how the AC has to be on when I turn on the front defrosters. I think there are two ways to fix this fake out the detector switch so the car doesnt know you turned on the defroster or kill the circuitry that automatically turns on the AC. no power you can still switch between the vents. On luxury cars Ive driven before the soft buttons activate a little motor that open and closes the damper that only works when the car is on. The knob that changes where the air is blowing does so by cable as you mention. Here are some pictures of what the back of the switch assembly looks like From this thread about changing the bulbs httpwww.yarisworld.comforumssho...lightleddash

Posted by jambo101 Tried that and the windows start fogging up againseems some airflow is constantly needed on the window to keep it fog free but just warm air will do the job once the car is at operating temperatureat that point the air is no longer needed but there is no way to turn it off and still have airflow over the window. I dont know about yours but both the echo ive had and the yaris

Thanks to CTScott for illustrating the proper mute connector (CN700 connector pin 6) on the stock double din Fujitsuten. httpwww.yarisworld.comforumssho...3&postcount20 I went and got myself an open box Parrot CK3000 (the simplest in-car unit) from Amazon for about 55 shipped. TOYOTA YARIS back lit control

First night out with the car I noticed that the pod that holds the mirror switch and cluster dimmer control is not back lit nor is the controls on the driver side door IE the door locks window locks or the other window switches (the auto down is lit.) The passenger door switches arent back lit either. Is this just mine sedan or arent any of the sedans back lit I also noticed the the radio controls

TOYOTA YARIS Question about lights

Do the tail lights turn on automatically when you drive at night I was driving home last night and some guy told my lights were off. I know my front lights were on. But didnt notice my rear lights. I assumed all new cars turned on the lights automatically and also turned it off when you shut off the engine. In my old car I had to turn a knob to turn on all my lights (front and rear). What is the knob on the left side of the steering wheel for Thanks.
