TOYOTA YARIS headlight film

Like he already posted ANYTHING looking like a government or police car from the front YES this also goes for those stupid windshield washer squirter LEDs are not allowed by law on a regular vehical. RED BLUE NO

who wants to have led windshield washer squirter anyway

See but as always the yaris is unique. The washer jets are spaced out kind of weird and dont sit in the center of the car... so if someone put snake eyes (as theyre called here) on a yaris it would kind of make it look like that chick that you saw at the bar but you had been drinking since 8 and its 130 and she has a lazy eye but shes small and you could toss... you know its a long story.

TOYOTA YARIS want to get bright headlight to see better view

any suggest and doesnt cost alot does HID illegal to use yellow light looks brighter i just want to find a way to have better vision when driving at dark . D thnz

- HID is illegal without automatic leveller and washer jets - yaris does not have any legal HID option for countries that follow the DOT or ECE standard - Around 4300&176K is about where you want to be in HID - Buy the 50 halogen bulbs to be 100% legal and get the most light output at a very low cost - If you really want something bright consider spot lights (though you wont be able to use them with oncoming cars).

TOYOTA YARIS DIY - HID Retrofit

It is not my intent to reinvent the wheel here. There is a great deal of information on retrofitting HID projectors available online. One very good source is the forums at HIDPlanet.com. TOYOTA YARIS DIY ProjectorHID (Liftback)

This is for a 2008 yaris liftback. I followed Brians DIY for the sedan version and it was a alot of help. httpwww.yarisworld.comforumsshowthread.phpt22112 However there were problems that I ran into during the installation that didnt seem to occur during Brians. I will be copy and pasting the things that were able to be done on the Liftback from Brians DIY. Tools needed 10mm socket 14mm socket (I think

TOYOTA YARIS Test Drove a 2009 Today...

Overall I loved the car itself much better than the Fit I drove a couple days before. The lease deal that toyota is running right now is a huge plus for the car as well. The one HUGE complaint is the funky placement of the speedometer gauges etc. in the middle of the dash. How long did it take you guys to get over it Are there any aftermarket solutions for the problem

Okay then. Ive leased a 2009 yaris. Its the base automatic. The value over the Honda Fit was just better and it came down to numbers. toyota won my money by having the better deal in a recession. Plain and simple. After about a week of driving Ive got some good AND bad I can fit this guy Fing ANYWHERE. ANYWHERE Its that small and maneuverable. Simply Amazing The stock lights leave something to be desired.

TOYOTA YARIS DIY ProjectorHID (sedan)

Here is the DIY for the projectors from Micro Image. This DIY was design for the sedan but most of the steps can be related to the LB as well. Perform at you own risk. If you have any questions feel free to ask or PM me. Tools needed 10mm socket 14mm socket (I think for negative battery terminal) Ratchet (14 drive works fine) Phillips screwdriver Flat head screwdriver Masking tape Dremel 1.) Disconnect

TOYOTA YARIS YarisSedans Ongoing Modification Thread

So I decided to start a thread to store all my mods that I currently have and on going as I have many more planned over the course of the next few months. Current Performance and Suspension Mods TRD Exhaust TRD Swaybar TRD Springs Tokiko Shocks Tannabe Front Strut Brace Ultra Racing Rear Strut Brace Megan Racing Front and Mid Lower Braces Nonstop Tuning Pulley Set Nitto Torque Dampener Weapon R Electronic

So here is a side by side comparison you can see how the light reflects of the headlight a little different than if you use just a typical headlight tint film. I went ahead and put only 2 very light coats of the tint and then 4 coats of clear coat. All the pictures I am currently posting the lenses have not been wet sanded and polished yet I expect them to give a bit more gloss. Since they are clear

TOYOTA YARIS changing bulbs projector lights

I want to change the bulbs of my depo projector headlights. Theyre H1 but which wattage do I need for low beam and high beam Im talking about these

I just bought these (I know it says HID but they arent) HIDs arent allowed here or I need headlight washers and automatich headlight height adjustment. So normal bulbs for me. I do hope they shine a bit whiter than stock bulbs. Ive found this site where they tested some of these 4000 K bulbs and a lot of them where much lower than what the box said. httpclublexus.comforumslighting...p-results.html

TOYOTA YARIS P1 Okay I got into a bumper accident. what should I be aware of. (dmg)

Whats up everyone long time no see. Anyway I got into a bumper accident today. Not my fault homo was trying to cross me while i had the right away and driving 20. I hit his car at around maybe 10 miles I think with the front passenger side of my car to his driver front wheel. so far the bumper is pretty much getting replace front grill. My hood got shifted to the driver side so that needs to get replaced.

To get back to the subject I was recently in a bumper accident(Hence the aftermarket bumper) and one significant thing for me to fix was the windshield washer fluid jug and pumps. Totaling out at 163. Also since the bumper is connected to the headlights it broke the mounts on the headlight causing a jiggle which i have not gotten to yet. Lastly you may wanna double check your fender liners as well. Hope that you can get it all fixed-

TOYOTA YARIS Ballasts relocated

As I was wiring my foglights yesterday I decided to relocate my HID ballasts. There is a spot underneath the factory headlights for them like the HID equipped Belta. Right now they are held on with double sided tape. I will be making some brackets this week to hold them on using the 4 screw holes on the bottom of the headlight. The passenger side is a more secure spot since it has the windshield washer fluid resevoir underneath (sorry no pics).

TOYOTA YARIS new look

Well I need a new look for my ride...I was thinkg about A. getting a different underglow kit B. Doin a lil more LED work on the outside C and a lil LED work on the inside. By that Im htink about gettin some washer nossles (with blue LED of course) and a lighted L-plate frame for the front(if itll work with the protector) linkin them to a switch maybe 2 and putting some LED strips on the inside linked

TOYOTA YARIS Projector HID Retrofit

I am having such a difficult time with this Neither how-to by Brian or Peter seems to be getting me anywhere. I have the headlights apart and then realized that the kit doesnt have any silicone in it. I dont know if it just isnt included anymore if Garm missed it or if I was suppose to order it separately. Ill have to get with him about that. The order of the locking rings on the back is all out of

This is where Im at right now. The only way the projector seems to fit in there with any remoteness of security is without the thin washer and without that rubber grommet. Even then it feels like it might come loose after driving a while and the projector bouncing around in my bowl is not what I spent 200 for. This is the untouched second projector as it was when I pulled it out of the box. I havent

TOYOTA YARIS Cold Air Intake - Question

Im going to add a CAI to my yaris and was wondering if anyone had any negative experiences after the install. In particular having a Check Engine Light error. CELs drive me nuts Im probably going to go with the AFE one. Thanks

Looks like you decided on the AFE but Ill answer your post in saying that I used the TRD (really an AEM) CAI that mounts the filter below the right headlight then vented my foglight cover to force in cold air and I had fantastic results. According to my SGII the intake temps dropped from around 100 F to 1-2 degrees F above ambient air temps. I commuted in all weather for almost 2 years (Dallas actually

TOYOTA YARIS DIY LED side mirror installation

WARNING This is at the moment just a partial DIY I have not yet gone around to do the wiring this will just show you how to remove the original covers and put in the replacement ones. Tools Needed For cover removal and installation a smallish screwdriver will do but even just your car key can do the job. For the wiring you will need some sort of portable soldering iron but you could get away with just

Here we go I took my speakers out and ran the wires down through the door and fed it through the boot into the cabin On the passengers side I ran the wire through the firewall using the grommet for the rear window washer hose On the drivers side I jacked up the car to get access to where the hood latch runs through In ran just the power wire for the blinker through (red) into the engine compartment..

TOYOTA YARIS Bumper Vent

Considering cutting a hole in my bumper where my bumper is cracked. The hole would go from body bend below headlight down to body bend just above fog light and about 4 wide. I would then put a metal frame on inside of bumper held on by 3m tape just for support it would outline the hole. Then put some weather stripping (the kind everyone got from Home Depot and made a lip kit from) and place that overaround

NISSAN I Drive A Versa Because I CHOOSE To

Every vehicle was test driven a night in the country to evaluate headlight effectiveness and interior visibility. Some vehicles have
