TOYOTA TACOMA 2010 in for Rear Suspension TSB

My 2010 Double Cab TRD Long Bed had bottomed out on me when I had the bed loaded up with wet soil so I called my toyota dealer and they said Yeah the back end is pretty weak on the Tacoma bring it in and well fix it. I dropped the truck in yesterday and they are upgrading the rear springs on toyotas dime. They even gave me a prius as a loaner car. They couldnt have been more helpful. They did refuse

great experience with my dealer. I read of the TSB here and what others had done to get their dealer to install the new springs and of others that were refused. So I call my dealer and fumbled through a weak explanation of why I think I needed the new springs. He said no problem and ordered the parts. I requested a loaner. When I dropped off the truck they had to teach me how to drive that darn prius.

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 BMW 325i vs Prius Maintenance

I know interesting title. Should this even be a comparison That isnt really my question P I feel like I have somewhat of a dilemma and your guys opinions and expertise would be much appreciated So I am looking to buy a new car (my own money) and wanted to know your guys opinions. I was wondering what route to take. My options A 2010 toyota prius about 40-50k miles for about 20k-22k CPO. OR- A 2006

to think about it get the prius. Its my car of choice for any long journey more comfortable than the BMW obviously better mpg and way way better reliability. The prius is obviously down on power cabin noise is higher but its pretty close to a luxury car. Handling in the prius is better than youd think its no where near my MX-5 with aftermarket suspension but neither is the E93. Keep harassing toyota

the prius 299999 mile club and prepare to weep httppriuschat.comthreads299-999-mile-club.79235 Some are nudging half a million miles (with few repairs) It would be fun to take out prius to a track day and see how many I can pass in the beginner sessions. With TRD suspension itd certainly be possible What is dealership price on the battery pack replacement A friend who is a service manager at a toyota

LEXUS CT Prius Adds a Performance Plus Package...3699

Ok..I already thought that at only a couple thousand more for a comparably equipped prius vs a CT200h you get a lot more in the CT200h and figured that Lexus is stealing a lot of would be prius sales away from toyota dealers. This story kind of confirms my suspicions. For 3699 added to a II or IV model prius and only 2999 for a prius V model you get all kinds of neat spoilers on front and rear and

TOYOTA TACOMA Insurance & Repair Shops

Hey guys and gals-- I need to get an estimate for repairs on my Tacoma (prius hit it jacked it up). My insurance wants me to go to a repair shop they have an agreement with to get it inspected and estimated. I feel this may be a bad idea as the repair shop may be biased to the Insurance company. Would I be better going to the Dealership instead and having them estimate everything Thoughts Overview

TOYOTA YARIS Plug in hybrid Yaris

I wonder if anyones seen this add-on that looks idea for a lightweight Yaris. My (US) Yaris is 600lbs lighter than my VW Golf TDi (which gets better mileage on the highway). That being said the light weight leaves room for batteries. I think this add-on would be awesome for a Yaris httpwww.poulsenhybrid.comindex.php

8 grand for 20-30 miles per charge And this isnt 20-30 miles with the engine off like a prius the engine is still idling and using gas. AND its only coasting miles It cant actually push your car away from a stop. Id guess it would pay for itself somewhere around year 20 or 25 but probably not. Not to mention its freaking ugly. When choosing a car to be converted it may be a good idea to look at the

TOYOTA TACOMA What Would YOU do (Mod guidance question)

TOYOTA CAMRY V XV30 soft brakes on 03 Camry SE

My 03 Camry is a sweet handling car for a family sedan. However the brake feel is very soft and not at all in keeping with the sporty feel of the SE. From what I understand the soft brakes on this generation Camry is quite common. I have a hard time believing that someone hasnt been able to fix the problem. Does anyone know if there is there some kind of toyota service bulletin which might correct

I have an 1993 xle and it has discs in the rear (same vintage). If you can find a donor car it is possibe to put disc in a car that originally had drums. Search this forum because I think I have seen this discussed eleswere. Or ask toyomoho he knows a lot about this sort of thing. My buddy bought a prius in 07 and I was disappointed to see that it had drums in the rear. They are still putting them on new cars

LEXUS CT Consumer Reports trashes the CT in their write up

Just got the new issue of Consumer Reports magazine. They reviewed the CT and basically trashed it. Stiff riding too cramped not Lexusy enough for them etc. They liked the handling and the mpgs. WhatEVER. I cant disagree with some of their points (the car is a stiff ride) but I LOVE the friggin car and so does everybody who owns one. This underscores how subjective car reviewing can be. For example

and am a bit perplexed at their take on the CT They do seem like many other reviews to just not get what the CT is. They like others want it all They like the fuel economy and handling but then knock it for inadequate power and stiff ride Its very hard (and expensive) to get BOTH handling and isolated ride as well as fuel economy and power They say that it isnt a Lexus that it seems more like a toyota

LEXUS CT Please help with choosing my new car

Hi guys I am recently considering buying a new car and I have two candidates now CT200h and Mercedes B-Class. I have test-drived the CT and I like it overall. Here are my two concerns lack of power (especially when emerging lanes) and the smaller room inside (I own a Subaru Impreza 2002 and I am 511). Do any of you happened to have owned both CT and Merc-B or How do you like your CT overall Thanks a lot

as that of CT and prius sales are climbing ever higher. You aint gonna to out accelerate an 18 wheeler on an up hill merge for sure but there is no issue with acceleration under normal driving conditions. You may opt to improve the CTs lethargic response by mods such as aFE free flow high performance air filter or inJen cold air intake. You ought to compare CT against the new Ford G-Max hybrid toyotas

BMW SERIES 3 F30 2013 328i (F30) - One month of ownership

A month ago I picked up my 2013 F30 328i. Its got a few add-ons but nothing major - Sportline 6MT PDCCamera Everest leather seat heaters sunshades aluminum trim Melbourne Red paint. Its a lease because I tend to change cars every two years. Pros 6 MT - ah feels like home. Familiar long BMW throws and vague shifter action but I know this feeling so well that even a mediocre manual feels better than

of power but the narrow powerbands getting on my nerves. Owned many turbo cars and while this is better than my N54 its still not an exhilarating engine. Lacking in a sharp torque curve or any drama its a workman-like engine. Auto Start-stop - the whole car shakes like a broken washing machine when it starts up at a light. Yikes who allowed this into production My mother-in-laws Kenmore-esque toyota

TESLA ROADSTER 40 kWh Delivery Timing

Hi all Thanks for the various notes I received about our comment in the recent shareholder letter regarding delivery timing of 40 kWh battery cars. The confusion is my fault. When I reviewed the shareholder letter I read the portions related to my area and not the final summary at the end. In the summary it said we would be delivering 40 kWh battery cars later this summer. That is correct for those

w tech package vs a bare bones 60. (I am price conscious.) I have an 8-mile commute and do most of my driving locally. When I go to the mountains or ocean (180 miles to each) my SUV would be used for space and 4wd so Im leaning towards the 40. Im not tall and think the back-up cam is a must bc visibility for me was not great during my test drive. But Im open to ideas. As introduction I went to toyota

TESLA ROADSTER Bundling options
