TOYOTA TACOMA New remote starter help

Hey guys Im new here but Ive been lurking on here for a long time to get answers to any questions I had about my truck. I have a 12 tacoma dc sb that came loaded out with the premium audio nav and the alarm system but it doesnt have a remote starter. I have been wanting one for a long time and I finally sprung for a good one on amazon . My Q is this how will the new remote starter alarm work with the

with the existing alarm system. I had a corolla XLE that I put one in and it was a fantastic device. I have since upgraded to a tacoma and plan to have one installed in it also. The only drawback is they are fairly spendy units ... but the range and reliability were exceptional. Forgot to mention this about the Compustar system ... the FOB that comes with the Compustar replaces the stock toyota

TOYOTA TACOMA Heated seats other than Limited

Im shopping to replace my Trailblazer and the Tachoma is at the top of a very short list. I live in Tenn now but only recently move from Ill where heated seats are sooooo nice to have. I see that the Tachoma has them but just in the Limited. I took my wifes Prius to the local dealer to get the oil changed and took the time to talk to one of the sales guys while I was there. He told me they can put

less for the second seat. Wiring took the longest and that was mostly trying to figure out a good spot to put the switches and route the wires. Heres a writeup I did on another forum when I put them into my truck (yes its in 1st gen but I cant imagine seat technology has changed that much) Quote By popular demand heres a quick rundown on how I installed a set of WarmSeat seat heaters in my 02 toyota

Sounds like the security system to me. My sister had this problem with her corolla. She went and had a steel key cut to fit her car. It unlocked the doors and turned the ignition just fine. The engine would crank just like you describe but it wouldnt fire for anything. She put the original key with the radio chip in and it fired right up. Id check that system before I went around messing with cams.

BMW SERIES 3 E36 Cold engine dies without throttle.

Hello. I have had this persistent issue for months now and I have spend a great deal of time energy and a little bit of money to try and figure out a solution. But I am at my wits end. This is a 1995 BMW 318ti OBD1 system. PROBLEM When the engine is cold the car will die without throttle. Not idle rough or low but completely die . If the engine runs for around 20 minutes and gets warm enough somethign

pulse width inicates unmetered fuel so check the fpr and evap systems. if fuel pulse is where it needs to be then i would suggest looking at the secondary ignition. yeah yeah yeah...i know its coil over plug....how do you do that.... simple. induction. like the old hei gm ignition coils. oh...they dont have induction leads at that shop dont worry.... use ignition wires from something like a toyota

MAZDA 6 I GG GY 06 Owner&39s Beware&33 791 Xv Install Nightmare

I decided two weeks ago to buy the 791 XV from viper. I brought the system to auto sound and security in new rochelle ny to get installed. In case you don&39t know already you must sacrifice a key to put in the steering column to operate the remote start.I had two options sacrifice the 2nd flip key set (419.00) or have the mazda dealer cut and reprogram a valet key). I called my dealer to order one

extra keys. If you all want me to write up how this vehicle is done and where everything is and specific part &39s let me know. I&39ll be more than happy to do it. here is the piece from Autopage that works in the Mazda 6 (06&39s included) KEY-OVERRIDE-SL Overview -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PATS data bypass kit for Ford Mecury Lincoln Mazda toyota

JEEP CHEROKEE Seriously can anybody help with an engine problem

I posted a couple of weeks ago but no luck. I have a 2000 4.0L w 103k mi. and distributorless ignition. Its idling rough and now is getting worse. A couple of months ago my check engine light came on misfire 1 cylinder. It hasnt came on since except yesterday. Will have it read after work. (It went off too). It also stalled at a light. Checked plugs Bosch platinum w 20k and they appeared good. Ran

Champion truck plugs and 30 minutes and Im good to go. Smooth as glass. Im not saying the Bosch Platinums are bad plugs but my Jeep doesnt like them. Thanks for all the help guys Now if I can just get my AC working.... My brother and I ran Bosch Platinum plugs back in the late 80s. This was when they cost about 8 per plug. Then they came down shortly after that to 4plug. They were run in an 87 toyota

MERCEDES BENZ 124 124 Fuel octane experts chime in...

I am trying something and would like to run a little higher octane than pump gas. How do you guys feel about mixing some 100 low lead with 93 Would that make it somewhere in between I know about the possibility of O2 problems if I went too rich with 100 Low lead. Other than that is my assumption correct on the final octane count

If you use 87 in a Mercedes your wasting your money as it will retard your engine and waste gas.

BMW SERIES 5 E39 Running 100 Octane

Just found out a local gas station sells 100 octane. I am going to the drag strip on Friday and I was wondering if I could run like 50% 93 and 50% 100 octane. Would the car run better or perform better Would the car be able to take advantage of it I have Dinan software I dont know if that will make the difference or not. Thanks guys

Not true. Any car will perform better with a higher octane.
