was in for service heres a few opinions. I did not like some of the sight angles out of the car. The front pillars get in my way. Whoever ends up in the far back seat will hate you forever - it is pretty tiny back there. The drivers seat adjustability and control positions are OK the main gauges are readable but the design of the rest of the dash is art for arts sake. It is more cushy than most subarus

I work about 2 miles from subarus NW Port in Vancouver WA and see truckloads of them go by every day from the building where I work. No matter how many times I see them go by the design just doesnt do anything for me at all. I really havent yet accepted the notion that the recent incarnations of the Edsel toilet seat grill represent a design element I would be willing to buy.
it first came out to see if it could possibly replace our Passat wagon. We liked it overall although the engine did seem to rev a bit in order to keep it moving. The third row was certainly big enough for kids but access to it was a pain and getting back there was nearly impossible with two child seats belted into the second row. In the end my wife decided it was crazy to spend over 30k on a subaru
There was an unseasonable warm day today and with the Sun I decided to try out the OEM subaru
subwoofer. In about 30 minutes I installed it under the front drivers side for about 120.00 US all in. Heres what I purchased 1. One used subaru
Subwoofer. It goes by many different model numbers over the past 15 or so years its been in production. The main differences in
I have found subwoofers that can be placed under the seat
. It has built in amp and you connect it to the speakers. My question is ... is this safe to do If i put one subwoofer under each front seat
and connect them to the doorspeakers. Will this work My car is a subaru

the kicker model. Is it safe to do Yes. But you should take note that there are HVAC vents under the seats that should either be extended or blocked off as the heat might cause the under the seat subwoofer to over heat. Why connect them to the door speakers. Go to SVXdcs website and order the 20-pin combination harness - 20-pin combined wiring Harness for subaru Impreza Forester Legacy Outback tribeca
Ever since I first saw the subaru
I have always thought there were some strange similarities to the design of the FX. Not all angles but certain ones really look like the FX to me. Does anyone else think subaru
was copyingimitating Infiniti
FWIW the new Acura MDX looks a lot like the FX to me. C%D did a test on it and never compared it to the FX which I thought was doing a disservice to the FX. Its the same formula. Good suspension power and the look even though the MDX seats more (in a pinch).
Looking at getting a under seat
sub and was wondering what people have had. I was looking and crutchfield and saw two the sound ordnance and the kenwood. I had been hearing mixed reviews I am not looking to go crazy just want better deeper sound nothing crazy. Its going in the sedan not hatch. Thanks Jim
i have heard the premium stereo in the subbys with tweeters and the sub hooked up and i was way less than impressed. but the new harmon kardon in the outback legacy and tribeca is worlds above the impreza and forester stereos. you might as well not even have the factory sub option no where near enough power but that would be understandable since it is way under powered.

Here is a link to an article in todays Toronto Globe and Mail that compares the X3 to the subaru tribeca
. httpwww.theglobeandmail.comservl...cialGlobeAuto (Remember the used in the story are Canadian ) Prior to placing my order I looked very closely at the tribeca
. Clearly the tribeca
has benefits that the X3 doesnt have -price (although the X3 has price savings due to the 3% offers BMW has on leasingfinancing
I dont know if I like the exterior appearance but I guess Ill wait until I see this in real life. Kind of looks like an Infiniti. WRX STI Subwoofer (Part No H630SFG500) subaru

After doing a bit of research on the topic of OEM subwoofers I found a better deal I believe - the optional under the seat subwoofer for a subaru tribeca. Its the same subwoofer unit as the one posted above but is made for a tribeca and is approx 100 cheaper (going for about 120 at most places online). What I dont know is if the wiring harness on the tribecas is the same 20-pin connection as ImprezasXVs.

So Ive seen similar posts in the new owners introductions thread but not one dedicated to the subject. So here we can post up what brought us to our individual XV ownership experiences So on with my story Lets start back in February 2011 when I decided to trade in my 03 WRX. As we know gas isnt getting any cheaper so I went for fuel efficiency and traded it on a 2.5i 4EAT. Well wouldnt you know it
mpg. Then the brake master cylinder starts to leak. Then the exhaust leak from the collector gasket starts. Again. Then the idler pulley starts to make noise. Again. And this my friends is my daily driver. Roughly 350 a month in gas. Then I price all the junk I need to fix. Over 1000 in parts alone. Ive always loved Rovers but its time to give up on having one as the DD. A few of my friends have subarus.

I just went to the dealer to program my transponder bypass module (same procedure as registring a new key) But since i have a 3 security flash sequence that keep repeating when the car is disarm and even while running that pretty annoying at night So somebody know the flash diagnostic for 3 rapid flash anyway i will go back at the dealer to check it out. We taught the learning sequence didnt worked

Hey yall Ive owned my ML430 for 4 years now and Ive really loved it. But at 220k miles now its starting to have its problems. So Im looking around. In the price categorty Im shopping in (under 15k and under 100k miles) Im looking at an 06 ML350 an 06 Touareg (V8) and an 06 BMW X5. Theres also a couple of Hummer H3s... though that seems less practical All look to be very well maintained all with similar
In 2008 I planned to buy the Murano which seemed fantastic on paper. But it was noisy down on feel of power and lousy economy. So we bought a subaru tribeca lemon. In 2009 we dumped the tribeca and the new model Murano was released. All our original complaints had been attended to. We drove it home one night only to find the angle of the A-pillar blocked most of your corner view the sunglare obliterated
Its been forver since Ive spent more than 30 seconds at a time on the site and I apologize. With a new house stepson and wife there has just been no time for any of the fun things I want to do with the truck. On a related note we found out on Friday that we are actually going to have twins (surprise) and since we already have one child in the house that is going to mean some changes in our vehicle
subaru makes great stuff. I am fond of the Forester but the Outback and tribeca are similar. The tribeca has three row seating. I would avoid full size SUVs. Politically incorrect these days.
Just bought a new 2006 Sedona fully loaded....here&39s my review Yes you&39ll need to get past any stigma associated with the Kia name. Kia is climbing the ladder just like Honda and Audi did years ago and gaining respect as their cars improve. We checked out the Honda and Toyota entries and the Kia just seemed to do everything as well and in some cases better. The handling of the Kia is certainly
Just thought Id let everyone know that you can now build your 2011 Kia Sportage on the Kia.com website Enjoy
The dealer I was at on Wednesday priced out a configuration with less than that at around 35K Canadian. Im pretty sure once the dust settles a bit a person might be able to get this configuration for close to 25K US with possible 2.9% financing or better. It could very well end up being that I get mine out of the US. It has become much simpler to do these days. My neighbor just purchased a subaru
It was a tough decision but my fear of questionable reliability expensive repairs and poor dealer experience prevailed. It was a wonderful car always fun to drive and leaves me willing to give MB another try in a few years. Just wanted to share the cars history 42009 - Purchased it used only 20k miles with a CPO warranty until 22011 112009 - Transfer case replaced -would have been several thousand
We needed a car that would fit more people so I ended up getting an 07 subaru tribeca with the 3rd row seat. Its not really meant to be compared to a Mercedes but its got comfortable leather and heated seats suspension is a nice blend of sporty and cushy and its obviously a lot roomier. Im going to miss all the little details like the power head rests the solid feel of the doors as they close and just
how about new toureg model i would say test drive all of them.. which do you like best.. and functionality accessibility.. get a real 7 seater suv if that is what you are after like the pilot mdx santa fe LWB chev traverse nissan armada nissan pathfinder buick enclave dodge durango subaru tribeca.. toyota highlander is good with space but imo interior is simple too bland for me (as you say doesnt stand
Just though I would post up what was just dropped off...
2003 with 88k miles that is paid for (but has issues...see my posts about steering wheel wobble) and I keep asking myself is this REALLY that much better than what Ive got. Seeing the front grill in person is worse I think. It looks cheap. The side vent in both colors is hideous. The headlights are cool from the front but look cheesy from the side. The back end looks neat but somewhat like a subaru
