MERCEDES BENZ SL R230 Seals manufactured into banjo bolts on ABC tandem pump

Can someone please help me with a small issue I have with my ABC pump replacement. The banjo on the high pressure output appears to have viton (green) O rings manufactured into the banjo on both sides. What do I do about reusing the banjo on the new pump 1. I have gently tried to pry them out but they appear manufactured in rather than just stuck through age. Do I need to just man up and scrape them

I am replacing the pump because the pump is leaking oil - sprayed very slowly all over the area - but the pump hasnt actually mechanically failed. Though it is a little noisy and I dont think the ride is great so its probably worn

MERCEDES BENZ SL R230 ABC High Pressure Banjo Seal

Hello all Im new to the Mercedes world so please bare with me. I have searched this board and have learned a lot but cant seem to find the answer to my issues.... Background I recently purchased a one owner 2004 SL500 with 53K. In less then a month I received Warning car to low issue after starting it one morning. I immediately shut it down and began to investigate. I found the ABC pump to be leaking

MERCEDES BENZ SL R230 HELP ABC line to tandem pump

Anyone ever removed the ABC high pressure line to their tandem pump before I have the intake hoses fan shroud serpentine belt etc. out but cannot seem to get the banjo bolt to take a 19mm to save my life. Obviously there are a lot of hoses valves electrical connections etc. in the area and there are a few things behind the banjo bolt which are close (but seem clear).... I know I cannot get a socket

Removed and replaced the compleet pumpcan remember to have any difficulties with removing the banjo bolt indeed it is an 19mm. removed the bolt from the underside with a normal 19 mm wrench tool.

If anyone has a V-12 SL (600 or 65) please note the new part supplier and new part design does not fit in these cars The part for the SL600 is 230 320 9353. There are 2 lines attached by banjo bolt to the tandem pump - one is a dead-end dampening line and the other is the through line to the rest of the system (front valve blockdampener). The through line will not line-up to the banjo bolt hole on

MERCEDES BENZ SL R230 2002 sll55 abc power steering knocking noise secondary pump issues

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS S IV 220 ABCPS pump leaking causing ABC suspension severe drop

I Have a leak from the pump on my 2003 s600. ABC reservoir empty fluid leaking from bottom of pump and caused my front end to drop to 3 inches of the ground--scrapes on dips in the road--wow. Dealer wants 912 for the pump looks easy to replace. I was wondering if there is a sealant you can add to fluid to seal the leak wo buying a new pump. Anyone know Power steering is still ok does that mean that the ABC pump is still ok Anyone Streetglower

Had the same problem on my SL 500 (r230) last week. It was nothing wrong with the pump. It was just a rubber o-ring seal in the banjo-bolt under the pump which was leaking. This banjo-bolt connects the pump with a hydraulic silencer under the pump. Seems like there could be some tension in the connection between the pump and silencer causing the oil leak. I just changed the o-rings (3 Euro) and adjusted
