Diode Dynamics makes footwell LED kits I would check there. Or ebay. Diode Dynamics
Any led tape on strip works also. Plenty of places sell them on the Internet.
LED Glow makes good stuff. Low prices too.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was not sure what the red lighting was called so I didnt check for previous threads. Regarding the door reflectors I dont need the lights was just wondering.
Some people have replaced the resistors in the LED strips to make them brighter or cut them out and replaced them with an aftermarket LED strip. Searching is your friend. Theres a light bulb list thread around here somewhere but Im having trouble finding it now too (maybe that could be made a sticky). Heres one on the other forum. At any rate I just did the interior and license plate areas with LEDs on my SX and I used 194s for both the license plate and interior dome lights and 31mm festoons for the rear dome bulbs.
Ok got all my interior bulbs. PLEASE NOTE. Dont be a retard like me and either disconect the battery or pull the fuse out when doing this. I shorted it a few times and kept blowing fuses. One fuse blown and couldnt start the vehicle at all. The vanity bulbs were a pain to get in but everything looks good. The rear LEDs look better than front so ordered new ones for the front will post pictures soon.
anybody know if the 13 optima ex with panaramic roof has 1 or 2 dome lights in the rear...my car is parked in the employee lot here at work and i cant get to it easily....

Well after having the optima for 18 months I finally pull the trigger and ordered the custom kit from Exled. I was never a fan of these LED interior led lights but I just want it to match my switchback and DRL and cant wait to get them.
Personally I like blue better I would would use only red LEDs to match the stock interior lighting. I think blue and red wouldnt mesh very well.
IMO if you have blue LED scuff plates add floor lighting blue frontback or blue door mood lights you should be good. Also have white vanity and dome lights. Kinda patriotic but all the colors should equalize. Plus you got a blue car so it shouldnt be the clash of titans Blue bottom part of interior Red middle part of interior White top part of interior
i wish the optima came with sonata blue interior lights. i have some blue interior light

It is very very weak and you will need to be in a dark place to
on the higher trim EX and higher there is red LED lighting under the front door speakers and also in the cubby hold in front of shifter there is red LED there as well. Both are pretty faint but there. Also there is the LED area light that is up by the map lights.
You would think the mood lighting would be a little less moody and more noticeable. You can barely see the ones beneath the front side speakers and the one in the cubby hole is completely unnoticeable. Ive got a 2013 and it seems like they havent improved this potentially cool feature from previous years.
Heres a few DIYs on modifyingupgrading your mood lighting httpwww.optimaforums.comforum22...icult-job.html httpwww.optimaforums.comforum22...od-lights.html
pretty neeT. Im going to try and go with just replacing the interior lights first with LEDs
I have just red in my Saturn. They are pretty neet. I like how they will flash to the music. Also now they have an extra wire coming out to hook up to a door switch. That means whenever you open the door. The led interior light kit will come on.

Its there - just VERY dim. Do a search for mood lighting and you should find a bunch of information. -stoli-
Im guessing this is something they changed on the 14 models. Mine has red accent lighting along the doors and inside the cup holders and its not dim at all. Not overpowering but definitely noticeable in the dark.
Looks great. Everybody including me had done this but in red. Lol... I like that purplish-blue lighting you got going on there.
Too much lighting for me...
blue looks nice going with red this week. I should think about lighting the place infront of the cup holders like you did. What did you use for that small spot
Nicely done but I cant help but wonder why you went with blue when all the interior lights are red To each their own I suppose.
Ive heard the fog lights are pretty good..
I bought PUTCO products in the past and they were ht. Didnt hold up well and PUTCO would not stand behind them. My 2 cents and I wouldnt recommend any of there stuff based on my past experience.
They look like the same ones that you can buy from the ebay vendors from Korea that are made much better.
I would imagine that if it could be done at all it would be difficult. I am not crazy about the red and prefer the blue of the Sonata but that is probably the only thing I would change on my optima. Someone else may know better than me though...
