NISSAN MAXIMA IV O2 and knock sensors for a 1998 Infiniti I30

Any opinions on using the Bosch O2 heated sensors for my vehicle application that need to be spliced into the OEM wiring since they dont come with the OEM plug. Are they the same electric spec as OEM They are sold at Pep Boys and Auto zone etc. On the ECU codes for this car is there a code for the O2 that is at the rear of the CAT. If so what is it I do not see it noted in the How Tos articles on this

This is the first and only vehicle i have ever owned. Its a 2001 Wrangler Sport. I bought it new in 2001 but moved to Chicago where it sat on the street while I took public transportion. NISSAN NOTE E11 Note for windshield replacement on an 09 with rain sensor.

A piece of gravel cracked my windshield last week and I just had it replaced. The glass installer did a great job no scratches or fingerprints anywhere. However...... I noticed the rain sensor wasnt working. The installer contacted the dealer and discovered that you cannot re-use the rain sensor once its been removed from the windshield. He faxed the info from the service manual to my insurance company

Very good information to know Thank you very much. I usually dont have good luck with windshields either somehow the dump truck is always in front of me. I last had a windshield replaced on my 04 QX56. I dont know why your mirror wouldnt work that is really strange. Keep us posted on your findings. My mirror continued to work fine on my 04 QX56. you sure nothing is blocking either one of the light sensors 2013 Infiniti JX35 AWD (Midnight Garnet Java) & 2013 nissan Maxima Sport (Pearl White Black)

Youre welcome Timmbo In 33 years of driving this is the first windshield Ive lost. Guess Ive been lucky to this point. I held a bright flashlight about 2 feet away from the mirror (assuming both sensors are in the mirror)....no dimming. I stopped by the dealer this morning to have the mirror checked out. Its definately bad and theyre going to replace it under warranty. I did tell them that the windshield

NISSAN Oxygen Sensors - How To

The front oxygen sensors test the oxygen levels in the exhaust and report back a voltage to the ECU. The ECU takes that voltage and changes the output of gas into the cylinders. If the O2 sensor gives a lean feedback then the ECU will output a richer mixture and vise-versa. The voltage changes constantly and the more it changes within 0 - 1 millivolts the better the O2s are operating. You can have

For what its worth here is a note from AutoTap ( AutoTap Express DIY - OBDII Scanner ) ---The only way to know if the O2 sensor is doing its job is to inspect it regularly. Thats why some vehicles (mostly imports) have a sensor maintenance reminder light. A good time to check the sensor is when the spark plugs are changed. You can read the O2 sensors output with a scan tool or digital voltmeter but

NISSAN O2 sensors HELP..

NISSAN NOTE E11 Note for those wanting to keep TPMS onto new wheels

Hi This past week I changed my stock wheels(or steelies may I add) to some Rota wheels I had received. I wanted to keep the TPMS since I didnt want the light staying on. Personal preference as its annoying for me.. The person mounting tires said I need new valve stems in order for them to transfer my sensors on over because our valve stems are rubber they break when taken off. So (4) of these are what

you didnt have to recalibrate cuz ur using the same sensor but will have to pay to switch them back to your stock wheels and break your wheels down. if you live in an area where you get snow and shitty weather during the winter it may be better just to order new tpms for the other wheels. then you will jsut have to switch the hole setup. each time. tire rack sells the sensors that you be needed.

NISSAN ROGUE BACKUP SENSORS INTALLATIONPICS

Well finally I got the chance to install a great set of backup sensors. I got the sensors from Flebay and I paid like 70 incluiding shipping. NISSAN FAQ - Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

This post is intended to give an overview of how the TPMS works and some general tips on maintenence. Why TPMS The US government mandated the use of TPMS on vehicles as part of the TREAD act. The act was created in repsonse to the Firestone tire tread seperation issue of the late 90s which partly blames underinflated tires as the cause of blowouts. All passenger vehicles under 10000lbs gross weight

performance should not be affected while the light is ON assuming you dont have a flat tire. The light will go off once the OEM tires are installed and after driving for 5 min above 16mph (25kmh). - It is possible there is a malfunction in the system. NISSAN MAXIMA [4th Gen] Rear O2 Sensor Question (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

The 99 I30 has been throwing the CEL code that indicates the rear (Bank 1 Sensor 2) O2 sensor needs to be replaced. I happened to have an extra NTK O2 Sensor (part 24525) for the front (Sensor 1) just in case one of the fronts were to fail. Naturally the first one to fail is the rear (part 24630) sensor. So I wont be able to use the spare that I keep in my workshops stash of (most likely to be replaced)

NISSAN MAXIMA Mileage Improvement (Preventative Maintenance Benefit)

I soon replaced the faulty downstream O2 sensor and started waiting for a sale to pick up two additional upstream sensors. I figured the old sensors were factory OEM and should be replaced at the cars mileage. After school

NISSAN 2009 FWD Nissan Rogue S

Does anyone know what the top speed is for this car Also would it be a possibility that it could go offroading and have a low risk of getting stuck

The top speed in the Rogue is electronically limited to about 120mph (192kmh). Its seems to be a soft speed limiter (it stops accelerating) not a fuel cut like older nissans. BTW there is no way to defeat the speed limiter. You cannot simply disconnect a speedometer cable... there simply isnt one. Vehicle speed is computed from the ABS wheel sensors and the transmission speed sensor. To bypass it would

it it cracks the whole stem. This is more common in the northern states because of the road salt. We saw it all the time and if we broke a stem on the sensor we would replace it for free. Never ever put aftermarket valve stem caps on the sensors. Different metals generally dont like touching each other and cause corrosion due to their different electrical charge. The first thing that I did on my nissan

NISSAN MAXIMA My I30

New to the import or even car in general world. Just bought my first car a 1999 Infiniti i30. So far I love it. High mileage but everything works and it drives great. Loving the gas mileage too. When I bought it it had bald tires and those ugly 15 wheels. Picked up a set of 18 m35 wheels and goodyear 24545s for around 200. Also ditched the front plate holder popped out a dent in the rear bumper and

a known issue with the timing chain tensioner that surfaced on my I30 at 255000 miles. It sounded like a lifter noise when the engine was cold. The good news is it can be replaced through the access door without having to remove the timing chain cover. I think it cost me around 300 to get it replaced. In my opinion the DSC4 (4th gen I30 and Maxima) with the VQ30DE are the best cars ever made by nissan.

NISSAN Not to beat a dead horse but here is the true story on ABLS

This was bugging the crap out of me so I decided to do a little research and testing... I couldnt get a straight answer from searching here... I can go into greater detail but I think we all know how an open

I have the brochure from nissan saying that it works in conjunction with the locked rear in 4lo... I dont need to test it... But I will as soon as I get off of work... I have every confidence that the light will come on in another 1000 miles just like

Its disappointing that nissan wasnt able to make this system cheap and reliable.
