NISSAN Roof Rail Cross Bars 2008

Just got an S model Rogue and Im happy with everything but I need roof rail Cross Bars which do not come factory installed (stupid) If I bought them aftermarket will the S model support the crossbars Or am I beat Thanks.

becuase I couldnt fit them on to my Rogue. By the way the permanent Yakima solution is the install of their product called Tracks and then use of control towers and landing pads allowing use of their crossbars and accessories. Might wait until they test clips on the Rogue or might get impatient and go with the TracksControl towerLanding pad professional install. Also the Customer Service Rep did note

NISSAN Roof Rack 05 King Cab PHOTOS-INSTALL (OEM copy)

I cut a (2nd gen) CrewCab rack 14shorter to fit the KC and it looks PERFECT. The bars fit deep into the lugs so where you cut it is absolutely not visible - it looks factory EDITED for clarity Jan 29 2012.... I imported 3 OEM style racks because I was going to combine them for my LEER cap too. But that was not feasible due to the angle of the feets (see photo) . Ill sell the other 2 racks and one set

NISSAN Removable Roof Racks (SL)

Im wondering if the SL roofracks are easily removable. I know with Subarus you can just pop the bars off. I have a short garage and will need them off to get the car inside. I would plan to leave them off unless I take a long trip and need them. Im referring to the racks that run lengthwise and are standard on the SL not the cross-bars that are optional. Thanks.

No the roof rails (front to back) are not easily removable. They are bolted through the roof. You may also need to remove the headliner to get at the nuts from the inside. Once removed you are faced with several exposed bolt holes that may need to be sealed to prevent water from coming in the vehicle. According to nissans specs the SL models with roof racksrails are only 1 taller than the roof rail

NISSAN options for rails

I own a Rogue S FWD (Canadian Model). I went for the S for the fuel economy and since I was not interested in paying for the extras for the SL. The only option I do miss is the rails on the roof. The S has no rack and I am looking for an option to solve this problem. I own a Thule Box. I have checked with Thule and they dont have the roof kit for the Rogue same for Yakima. I ask my dealer if it was

Here is what you need - 2 Pairs of Yakima Q Towers 8000135 - Crossbars (I recommend 58 it will stick out but makes it easier to load canoes and stuff) Here is the important part - 2 pairs Q clips Q96 for the 02-05 Altima I would find a good rack dealer that carries Yakima products and is willing to test fit the vehicle for you. Dont buy anything until you are sure it will fit 100%. One final note

NISSAN Wind Noise

I had bought my 2008 rogue in dec & i have a howling wind noise as well. it has been taken in to the dealership (4) times & they do not know where it comes from. I am not sure if you take the crossbars off it will go away I do know that i have tred folded in my side mirrors & for now when i do this i do not hear a wind noise Who knows the noise is very annoying and for a 26000 dollar car you should not have to deal with this. Anyone have any good ideas

3) Discussed the issue with my service dept today they said they were aware of some Rogues making the wooooo wind noise which sounds like its coming from the main roof rails. However my service manager feels the noise is not coming from the rails but rather the drivers door seal. He indicated that its almost impossible to nail down the cause of intermittent road noises but if we wait a while nissan

NISSAN Hauling a canoe with the Frontier

Well as the title says I will be hauling a canoe one of these weekends coming up. A co-worker offered his up to borrow. My son and I have been fishing quite a bit at a local lake (from shore). We are interested in getting out on the lake and fishing the deeper parts. So anyway I have an SE model with no roof rack. Heres what Ive some up with so far with my investigating 1) The aftermarket roof racks

NISSAN Nismo package or regular LE

Ill be trading in my 2007 Titan LE soon for a Frontier. Ive been researching and checking out the different models available and have come down to either a King Cab Nismo package or crew cab LE. Since I live 220 miles from the nearest nissan dealer I dont have the luxury of just dropping in and test driving etc. My concern with the Nismo is that it would be a rougher ride with the off-road package.

One important thing to note is that the KC and the CC (with short bed) are on the same chasis wheel base. If you go CC with a long bed the WB and turning radious goes up. So figure out how much bed you need before you compare. ( I started out wanting the long bed but went with the (LE) short and have never regreated it.) Beyond that since you dont get too specific in your wants Id go LE if you like

NISSAN MURANO II Z51 2009 Murano SL AWD NOISE

When we first test-drove the LE the first impression we have is wow it is SO QUIET Finally we picked up our new 09 Murano SL AWD last week. We noticed we can hear considerable wind noise and road noise. Do you guys feel the same way Is SL louder than LE Or its something related to the tires (18 vs. 20) or roof rails Thanks

it over 100mph before too and never noticed excessive noises...although I wasnt specifically listening for any wind noises. That being said I am also very picky about noises...therefore I would have to say if there were any wind noises I wouldve known about them and complained by now. In the absence of that Id have to say my LE...which Ive owned for going on a year and a half...is very quiet. Of note

NISSAN Need help & advice - looking at buying a frontier

Hello I am looking at buying a 07 frontier or a 07 Tacoma. I want the 4x4 4 door version for use in Iowa. I will use it mainly for carrying my bicycle around and towing around a motorcycle and trailer as well as for home purchases. I like the long bed version but also the Nismo which only comes short bed (99% sure of this) I have a few questions 1) Is the NISMO version worth the money Bilsteins etc

NISSAN MURANO I Z50 Changes on 2005 FX

Does anyone know or herd of any changes on the 2005 FX I am hoping that Infiniti comes to their senses and makes some of there options as single order items instead of lumping them in packages. I also hope they keep Laser Red and offer it with Willow interior instead of just graphic. I would like aluminum roof rails instead of black but I do not want the sports package in order to get them. I wish I hadnt thrown away my comparison chart with notes Everyone seems to ask why I would pick a brand new first year model of anything. As I recall Heres why we ended up with the Roguer CRV---Just seemed big and clumsier than our 04. Also missed the spare on the tailgate. Escape---Inexcusible that Ford omitted rear disc brakes. The hybrid was the noisiest car Ive ever driven. Mariner--- A step up
