let me see if your ecu is removed your engine bay is going to have tons of wires hanging all over the place. Another one could be that they didnt remove the ecu maybe another head unit in the same area. I would check to see what the part looks like. I think someone here can post a pic of the acutal ecu. Other factor is that MB updates its software about 4xs a year therefore the new chip has to be programed with the correct version. I have been trying different driving methods with the slk32amg i.e. pressing throttle slowly building speed then kickdown also slowing down then kicking down to get more boost. playing around using manual gear function. My dealer said use W mode to save petrol tyres but I find EPS comes on too often. So I use S mode but have to be careful not to spin wheels I did it first day I had it. I usually drive manuals. As I am new to AMG Auto boxes any tips or cautions.

In my experience you would have to hot-rod the slk230 all the time in daily driving to keep it driving with a spirited transmission response. The shift points are higher and the engine revs up longer and faster when its on good behaviour but theres no avoiding creeping traffic and responsible daily use when driving it like any other car. I have recently found a fairly cheap and mint condition (less than 30K miles) AMG Kompressor of a 32amg. If your answer to this is going to be.....trade-in and get the 32 than done even bother answering. Anyways Im getting the oppurtunity to buy the unit for fairly cheap and my MB Tech told me that to actually fit it on the engine All I would need would be the Pulleys and belts from a 32 the plate

I have had my car for a while now & i am use 2 the power what is the best way to increase the power. I have been told to put on a smaller pulley & re-map the ecu but have struggled finding someone in the UK who is capable of doing so.
