Hi - thanks for this very interesting post. Ive done front brake pads and discs (rotors) before and found it fairly easy. Do you think the ball joint would be easier to do (better access and better light etc.) if you had hung up the brake calliper (no need to disconnect the hydraulic line) and removed the rotor dust shield I also wonder if removing the shock absorber (damper) would allow more height to be gained when lifting lowering the lower control arm relative to the hub RMR

Change engine oil - fleece filter and Mobil 1 0-W40 Change coolant Change brake fluid Change transmission filter and oil Change diff oil Change spark plugs Change serpentine belt tensioner and idler pulley Change engine mounts Change front ball joints Change steering centre drag link and steering damper Check the following- shock absorbers Discs and brake pads Will then do another 100k miles without problems.
