have are for North American specification cars and they may not line up properly with yours. Also the model year 1999 (sold in Europe) was sold In North America as the model year 2000 so our charts are labeled for a different year. Complicating matters the models from 1999 (or 2000) do not have exactly the same layout as 2003 and later. A chart we have for the 00 is at posts 14 and 15 at httpwww.benzworld.orgforumsw220...e-chart-2.html

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS C I 202 Climate Control Blower Fan Problem

Maybe one of you experts can give me some guidance with how to fix this problem. I have a 2000 C230 Kompressor (W202). Great car When operating the fan control (heating or cooling) from 0 to 1 .. the fan is on FULL. All other settings are the same - on full. It is either off or on at full. Would the fix for this be the switch the blower motor or is there another component in the system that I should

Hello My benz is C180 -94 with AC. I have a weird blower problem. blower aint working at all. I have changed all most everything.. - blower motor - Climate Control (2028300685) - Heater fan Resistor (2028202510) - Ignition cylinder switch (valeo 256699) - in-car temperature sensor (roof) - Outside temperature sensor - Fuse ( is there only 1 of those under the hood) And the problem is that blower

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS E II 210 Apparatus or Module case cooling fan blower

I did a search and found nothing about the fan that apparently is meant to cool the various modules in the apparatus case on the left front side of the 98 E320 (and possibly others). Part number according to EPC is A2105450495. I have the common ABSBASASR light problem but the lights only come on after the first trip of the day. Never when starting in morning. One thought was that perhaps the module

I did a few tests today on that mini-blower. I checked the resistance at the blue plug which it seems connects to the blower and plugs into the end of the K-40 relay. I got about 500k ohms. Sounds like a lot. I then used a small 12v battery and applied 12v to the blue plug. Nothing happens and no spark when I made the battery connection. blower seems dead. So next step will be to pull the blower out.

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS S IV 220 AC Fan blower is not working need advice

Hi guys first post. Little back story (sorry for this) Recently bought 2003 S430 had bad airmatic took it to mechanic and told me it needs to be replaced. i talk to the guy on phone (before i took the car) told me will be 710 for parts labor i did little search on forum and found out pump will be under 400 (depending on where you buy it) i took print out and talk to the guy didnt go well but i set

As I understand it your blower fan turns but you get no air circulation. Immediately check the air intake plenum in front of the passenger windscreen for water It is possible for a drain tube at the bottom of the plenum to get choked by leaves and other debris and it can cause serious problems. See the Water in Car link at httpwww.benzworld.orgforumsw220...mlpost4298889 and be sure to read the imbedded links there.

its good to have it. i checked where the water drains and it seems there is few derbies in there but water is not the problem as it seems it drains out fine (little wet due to rain last night nothing major) is there a guide on how to open it ( i did remove two screws and it turned out to be something different so i put it back) checked the forum Edit 3- After reading few stuff on forum ( httpwww.benzworld.orgforumsw220...r-problem.html

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS S IV 220 Blower fan noise

Hi all I have a problem in that there is a noise (slight tapping) when the blower fan is on. If it is on the 1st speed (lowest) you do not hear it. If the setting is 2nd or 3rd speed then you hear like a tapping sound coming from the passenger side front footwell under the glove box area. If I raise the speed to 4th speed or more the sound goes. It sounds to me and after reading the many similar posts

I have checked out the noise from this blower fan area under the glove boxpassenger floor area to no avail. I found it very hard to get into this area generally (not much room to move about in). I removed the carpet and then the glove box (which I fixed by finally replacing the fastener ). I then removed a plastic sheet area which had some sound insulatuion attached to it and also the polystereyne

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS R W251 V251 Leak blower fan stays on and dead battery...

Sorry if its a re-post but Im on my phone in the middle of nowhere. We are out of town and its been raining cats and dogs. Dropped my son off yesterday 6 am and what sounded like water running. Looked around for a water bottle but found nothing then realized there was a leak from somewhere above the passenger foot well. Then started to notice the blower fan was on when I shut the car down and got

No pictures as expected. To prevent the clogged drain problem where in the A and B service does it say to inspectclear the drain of the air inlet box under the hood The factory says to replace the cabin air filters through the glove box area not from under the hood. I was told today thats is part of the AB service and if not performed it can lead to a clogged drain interior leaks and blower motor damage. If the AB service is done at such long intervals cant the drains get clogged in in between services Sounds like more BS from Baker mercedes benz Stealership. Thoughts

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS E II 210 (Video) Is this the blowerfan regulator problem

Hi guys Im looking for your opinion on this. Im pretty sure the blower regulator is defective but I want a second opinion before I buy the part. MERCEDES BENZ CLASS M W164 ML350 Thermostat andor Blower Fan Issue

Hello Everyone Let me start off by stating that I am not a mechanic and other than changing oil adding wiper fluid etc. I rely on the guidance of excellent do-it-yourself instructions (very appreciated) by others of you on these forums. That being said Ive run into an issue on my wifes ML350 (2006). As is typical with my wife I find out weeks later when theres been a light noise etc. with regard to

I think the difference in our issues is that the blower fan doesnt come on regardless of what setting you try in the car. Regardless of defrost auto or manual zones and temps. The fan doesnt come on whatsoever at this point and hasnt in days. Its been pretty cold here lately so if it is something frozen it probably hasnt had an opportunity to thaw. Im contemplating replacing the thermostat as I read

Clarificaiton Im talking about the blower Motor under the dash of the glove box. Not the Aux fans in the engine bay cooling the AC radiator. Question if there was lack of freon in the system would the computer tell the blower motor not to spin

Nope now you are confusing the AC blower with the engine cooling system aux fan. Stay focused on the AC blower system thats what is not working correctly. Remember it is either a bad fan motor or a fan regulator or the regulator is not getting the 0 to 6 volts from the AC control module. Test them to see where the fault lies Alternatively start swapping components until you find the faulty part

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS S I 126 tiny fan next to main blower fan is squealing

My 1991 420SEL (W126) is making a high-pitched squealing noise from the area behind the passenger-side dash. It sounds like a bad bearing on a fan of some sort. What puzzled me is that the noise is independent of the main ACC system blower fan and is unchanging regardless of blower fan speed and further the noise is still present even when the ACC system is turned completely off. I took things partly

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS E II 210 E430 Fan Blower Motor not working

Ok it is summer time and its getting to hot to ride without AC in my car. My AC fan is not blowing. Some days it works some days it doesnt. Im not sure if it has a shortage in the wire. Sometimes if I hit the button of the dashboard hard where the blower motor is it will kick on and work fine. Changing the speeds is not a problem when it works so I dont think it is the regulator. It could be something

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS M W164 Interior heaterblower fan icing up ML320CDI 2007

With the winter weather in full force Ive now had my heater (the fan) stop working in my car. The symptoms are that I start up the car after it has been parked for an extended period (eg overnight) and the fan wont run to provide heat in the car. All the lights work on the dash as I try to manually increase the fan speed (or try max defrost) but no fan runs. This has happened three times now. At first

After the car heater worked fine yesterday afternoon - serviced by the dealer - I parked outside overnight about -10C (or 20F) and this morning the fan was frozen again. No new snow which I would now have cleaned off the hood first anyway. So either the tech hadnt got all of the water out of the cup area (his words) around the fan or the bearings in the fan seized. Theyre looking at it again tonight

I have had this exact problem in my 08 ML 550. This first occurred during a snowstorm while I was driving in Maine. After a couple of hours in traffic the fan started clicking like something was hitting the fan blades. The windows fogged up as well. When I put the blower to high it seemed to stop. I parked the car and stared it the next morning no blower at all. I called my dealer to explain the problem

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS E II 210 Fan Blower Speed is Variable

I have a 2000 E3204 matic 60000 mi - the fan blower motor speed changes by it self. When I change the speed to high it will stay on high but on the medium to low speed setting the speed changes by itself i.e. goes up and down. I ran the diagnostic test and the report said that the evaporator sensor needed to be changed. Could this evaporator sensor make the fan speed vary by itself What else may possibly be the problem Test Results 121 200 373 472 511 681 702 805 No error codes present

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS G 300GE Fan Blower only works with Webasto Aux Htr On. Help

All thanks in advance for your help with my issue. I have a 1991 W463 300GE. MERCEDES BENZ CLASS E II 210 Fan Blower Intermittent Fault

My 1999 E22CDI Avantgarde Saloon has developed an intermittent fault on the fanblower. The fan works on all switch speeds (1-5) then will stop and doesnt work on any speed. Today my same magic trick didnt work I have looked at all fuses and none are blown. When I switch the ac on I can hear it kick in but not blow Is there a relay for the blower and if so where I read some of the other topic about this and they say the resistance pack but Im not sold on that being my problem. Anyone have any experience replacing or removing the blower fan on a C240 (W203). I have determined this to be the source of an annoying intermittent squeak. I can see the blower fan assembly when I remove my cabin air filter. A couple squirts of penetrating oil have served as a temporary fix. However the squeak comes back after a day or so of use. I would like to replace the blower fan but unsure of the difficulty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
