Hi Jippi I have a mercedes wiring diagram book for the w201 but its at my other house at the moment. If I recall correctly the inside of your fuse box cover should tell you the answer (I dont own a w201 anymore so I cant check on mine). Hope that helps

If you have heated nozzles theres a 2 wire harness to the nozzle itself--you can see it run along side the bottom of the hood.

The resevoir if full the motor roars away but nothing comes out on the windshield. The nozzles are full of corrosion so I tried the sewing needle thing poking down the nozzle as far as I could and got a good squirt out of one nozzle then nothing period. Anyone know what I can do to get the corrosion out of the system Thanks. Hemersam

THats generally the issue the heaed nozzle may malfunction and cause it to clog. Blowing the lines with highly compressed air to force it out works well.

Alright so heres the deal. I just sold my 1990 190e 2.6 on Monday and test drove a potential replacement today. Its a 1996 C280 in the same dark grey exterior and light gray MB-Tex interior that my 190e was Overall I cant believe how similar these cars are to the 190s. Overall shape location of all the switches same seatbelt height adjusters etc. The car ran 10x better than my 190e and was fun to drive.

Well according to my British haynes manual Fuse 10 is an 8A (white) fuse that the electromagnetic fan clutch washer nozzle heater and electric mirrors and heated mirrors are on.br br Look on the fuse box itself it should tell you what each fuse feeds. I wouldnt expect benz to change the electrical system too much for british and american cars. I have found it is pretty accurate for electrical systems in my 190D 2.2

I would say my 84 & 85 300Ds both sound as quiet or quieter than the 2nd clip w Bosio nozzles. Mine both have the original Bosch nozzles as best I know. Except I recall the 85s file (from PO) showed one injector replaced and I found one had a much thinner washer thickness when I balanced them (though popped at same 1900 psi). I havent touched my 84s injectors yet. Still I would like a quieter engine.

I have a 89 190D and it has developed a leak around the bottom part of the injector. What do I need to fix this as far as parts wise and is there anything that you can think of for tips or advice. Thanks

There is a compression washer at the injector seat replace those and you will solve the problem. If you are doing it yourself pay attention to the orientation the seal (washer) is not flat and you need to install it properly. I dont think thats true--the 190s had three wiper arms. original mono wipe non articulating then the dual washer nozzle wiper arm that would move laterally and on the arm theres an access flap to remove that part of the arm after 88-89 they had a wiper arm that didnt have the flap--and that model took a different wiper blade. Check the tightness of your O2 sensor. Non mercedes O2 sensors do not stay tight in the exhaust manifold. After coming loose hot exhaust gases shoot up at the hood by the starboard washer nozzle. Any wiring at the rear bulkhead near the battery compartment gets melted and there is a persistent smell of burning inside the passenger compartment. When the wiring of the O2 sensor get fried the car misfires depending upon its speed and load.
