MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 DIY-Easy Budget Friendly Fender spacer kit

Ok. so I know that some people (including myself) dont want to fork over the 40 for the AMG spacer kit. So I found an alternative solution which works just as well. Please note- For this I only spaced the front of the fender as I had zero rubbing issues with the rear of the front fender. For the actual spacers I just used some universal polyurethane sway bar end link bushings from Pep Boys (cost 10

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 Should I buy this 190E

I am in the process of deciding whether to buy a 1985 190E for 1300. The car has verifiable fewer than 100k actual miles. The interior and exterior is in excellent condition. The body kit is similar to this one on eBay Item number 350024348659. The car looks exactly like this white one here mercedes 190E (W201 CH.) - Partial Body Kit by Vestatec but it has factory fog lights built into the front bumper.

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS C I 202 Sold my 190e test drove a C280..some questions

Alright so heres the deal. I just sold my 1990 190e 2.6 on Monday and test drove a potential replacement today. Its a 1996 C280 in the same dark grey exterior and light gray MB-Tex interior that my 190e was Overall I cant believe how similar these cars are to the 190s. Overall shape location of all the switches same seatbelt height adjusters etc. The car ran 10x better than my 190e and was fun to drive.

crap. Trust me I learned that the hard way. Youre much better off feeding the Bose amp with a line level converter. See Crutchfield.com for info on line level converters new head units speakers and amps Mirror look-down feature Never heard of the problem where they dont go back up but depending on what else is on that circuit you could remove the fuse until you have a proper fix. While the real Evolution II is a stunning car nearly all of the fake Evolutions aka FEVO cars whether built on the 2.3-16 or other model (there have been some 190D cars with the kit) have serious aethetic problems with trying to fill in the front fender wheel gap. When judging whether you like the look dont use a real Evolution as your guide use real pictures of the kit cars. The real Evolutions have

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 EVO I kit alternitive on the cheap

Hey guys I was looking around on one of the british websites and I came across and interesting thing.... Someone who couldnt find a Evo I kit and wanted to avoid the dreaded Fevo wheel gap came up with an interesting idea. They modified wheel arches from an MG ZR (not sold in the US) But there are websites to get the arches from and they arent too expensive. Anyway here are the pictures I found of

Someone who knows where to find evo 2 bodykit Thanks

There are basically 4 sources of the EVO II kits . . . 1) Erebuni 2) 190teile.de (Germany) 3)a kit maker in Indonesia Indra and 4) Reiger (distributed by RPI in Canada) There are some kits on E-Bay at the present time. Words of wisdom on the EVO II kits . . . you get what you pay for. The higher the quality of the kit the less repair work youll have to do but the EVO kit is so extreme that youll have

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 Rust....HELP

So I have this 87 2.5 turbo that I bought a little over a year ago and am starting to like the car so finally I have been doing some work on it. It had those stupid crome fender things around the wheels so I decided to take them off yesterday after taking three off and no rust I was really happy then I got to the front pass-fender with the gill slits in it and the arch is totally shot figures my luck

If you find an after maket fender (W201 Diesel Turbo cw vents located behind the marker) it is rcomended to take a corner marker and fit it in the front jaw to see if the mould was correct. Ive sourced one from Vancouver (for 58 ) and it was good fitment wise I agree that it was thinner than the original but why do you care so much about the thickness reputible body shops coats the back of the sheet

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 Her time came today.

As a few others in this site my car met the front end of another vehicle this afternoon. As I was traveling down a two lane road on the left lane a young girl in a jeep wrangler was pulling out of a stop and shop she pulled about halfway into the road blocking the right hand lane and stopped there assuming she was going to let me pass she abruptly moved into my lane I was only about 6-7 yards away

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 Tyres for 15x7 8-holes

a simple question im going to renew my tyres the 1956515s that came with the wheels (used 15x7 8-holes) always seemed a little big in diameter and sometimes rub on the front apron assembly over bumps. so do i get 205 55 R15 or 195 60 R15 my main concern is steering weight as i mostly drive around Central London UK. my car is totally stock i am not interested in modifying suspension or rim size at the moment...

I also find the 201 wheel arches not that big at all. I want to fit these wheels (see pics) but I have to get a lower profile tire because the 20555 16 is rubbing the front fender where it meets the bumper.

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 Help identify this

Its a car that lives near me. It never ever moves. I cant tell what version of the 190 or 300 or whatever class it is in. Also if it is a factory widebody like an AMG. It doesnt look like any that I could find. Anybody know I left a note for the owner....although I doubt I will get a call....Im interested in the wheels. Anybody know that as well Any info on any of the two questions will help me either way. -Keith

The car is a 85 euro spec 2.3 The kit is entirely custom as you can see everything is molded to the car including the slight cladding like image that is presented upon the car as well as the way it molds into the arch on the front fender. The wheels are not BBS but indeed HREs. Looks like the Ferrari kit but more subtle until that trunk lid comes along.

MERCEDES BENZ 190 W201 only when it rains

Problems seems to be showing only when it rains or should I say cooler than normal temp persists either car is on or off the garage. I recently changed the coil plugs rotor distributor cap and wires. Cleaned the tank replaced tank filter relief valve new gas tank cap fuel filter. While checking all vacuum lines i stumbled upon a disconnected hose connected from the thermo valve beside CIS temp sensor

Thanks DP. I think i am having a leak on the FPR. Its coming from this hose behind the FPR going to the small cone shaped plastic funnel that is attached to another hose near the engine valve cover. Does this mean replace the FPR I did perform a test on the FPR and was surprised that I was able to fill 1liter in less that 10sec when I turn the key to on. My understanding from the manual is that limit
