MAZDA 6 I GG GY Brakes pumping themselves up (line presure)

Baffling problem. On three seperate occasions my brake pedal got really stiff and the brakes all slowly locked up. Just normal brake application driving in a normal manor. The first two times I bled brake fluid from the abs block under the hood and the vehicle was rolling again although the pedal became much lower than normal. The third time was on my way to the dealer the pedal rose and the brakes

MAZDA 6 I GG GY Right Rear Brake -Weak Clamping Force

I just had new rotors and streettrack Porterfield R4S pads installed ( illness prevented DIY ). I beeded them in per instructions. The performance is outstanding but I noticed that the left rear is making the proper bite on the disc but the right is not pressing enough to keep the light rust from forming and no signs of bite. Brought it back to dealer ( I only let one tech I know work on my Rx7 and

The FSM for the 6 doesnt cover this - as you already know. I have two other manuals. A 358pg mazda6 Training Manual and from Fords Service Technician Specialty Training series I have the 130pg Advanced brake Service Diagnosis and Service Manual. From the mazda6 Training Manual you get the list of abs TCS EBD codes and diagnosis procedure. From the Ford Manual you get more hands on detail such as Ensuring

MAZDA 6 I GG GY Squishy Brakes

I have 40K miles and asked the dealer to check the brakes. when I apply the brakes they brake fine but are really soft and make a squishycreeky noise. almost like there is a bunch of eggshells under my brake pedal. anyways the techs immediately knew that it was a my brake fluid and it needed flushedfilled and would not be a warranty covered item. they said it&39s a maintenance item. no where in the

Quote garbage i just called the dealer and advised them about the TSB and they said TSBs are only good for 25000 miles[b] untrue. TSB&39s for items covered by the bumper-to-bumper warranty are covered for the duration of that warranty. A failed master cylinder booster abs unit or I believe even a caliper or abs sensor would indeed be covered. an item that would affect the vehicle&39s safety or emissions

MAZDA 6 I GG GY Quick Brake Advice

so i need new front brakes and from what i have been reading ive decided to go with EBC redstuffs and stoptech slotted rotors. now my question is i hear alot of talk about changing fluid but how necessary is it i havent done any true track events but i def do my share of spirited driving on the road and i plan to do one HPDE event in the spring. should i change the fluid i have 35k on the car now.

I bleed out my own brakes all the time. It&39s not difficult....just start with the caliper that&39s furthest from the abs pump first and work your way to the caliper that is next furthest etc. I would STRONGLY suggest that you go to a high temp brake fluid if you plan on going to track days. Motul RBF600 is a solid choice for a daily driverweekend track warrior. One thing to keep in mind though is

MAZDA 6 I GG GY How do I Bleed my Brakes HELP&33&33

So my brakes sink WAY too far when I brake and it&39s starting make me a bit uneasy. I heard that because of the Anti-lock brake system you need a special equipment. Has anyone out there done it to their mazda 6 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance[size]

well if the fluid has been in the system for a while then the fluid will just obsorb any air it can doesn&39t really need to be cracked at all. this can be advnaces if you do any performance driving the heats up the fluid to it&39s boiling point. what i tend to do when i don&39t have a helper around which will get the pedal a bit better is gravity bleed. I did this when i swapped calipers on my miata

MAZDA 6 I GG GY Need advice on reliability mods

New guy here and I just bought a Speed6 after totaling my F150. I am trying to do some preventative mods and need to know if I have gotten everything down and in the right order to prevent expensive repairs in the future. I need to know if these are good parts (fit and strength). Also Im looking into doing some performance mods and need ideas on my selections. Reliability 1) Front and rear diff mounts

to lower the car (which Im not talking about for looks at the moment) Just lowering the cars center of gravity will dramatically improve handling. Full coilovers are the easiest solution especially if they are fully adjustable. You could also get a good spring strut combination but if you do that then I suggest following what Forzda did (also known as Father Time and one of our resident mazda
