MERCEDES BENZ CLASS M W163 Land Rover LR3

I know its The Next Big Thing but has anyone actually driven an LR3 yet or is the media just regurgitating the Ford company line about how wonderful it is I am having trouble believing that LR can reinvent itself so dramatically and so quickly even if BMW did design it after all MB designed the ML. Are you telling me the brainy bits wont fall to pieces like every other LR the same way TouregCayenne

Courtesy of AutoExpress UK Sept review of landrover LR3 (Disappointing is the final prognosis) land rover Discovery 3 V8 HSE The third-generation Discovery is big in every respect. But is it any good heres a revolution going on at land rover. Parent company Ford has introduced the idea of shared components across different model ranges. And thats something that land rover hasnt been very good at up

Hello I am in the long and troublesome process of getting rid of my beloved 2004 BMW M3 convertible in exchange for an SUV. As a future physician I want to make sure that I can always get to school and to the hospital even in heavy snow. Also I am trying to live a more healthy

I thought it drove better on road than the new X5 and while I didnt take it off-road I am confident it will drive much better off road that the X5 which is the poster child for SUVs that dont go off-road. The X5 has a much nicer interior though and the even the last gen iDrive is better than the POS touch screen system land rover puts in their cars. Sent from BimmerApp mobile app

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS G Statement from Europa

Europa InternationalInc.Gwagen USA has for 18 years pioneered the US importation of the Gelaendewagen made by Mercedes-Benz and has been responsible for creating and maintaining a now thriving US market.pUp until the year 2001 Europa was tho only company to take on the arduous task of successfully importing and certifying the vehicle to meet US EPA and DOT requirements. This included crash testing

love that costs the money. Mercedes are on a cheapening campaign like BMW and once quality products are becoming mass market trash. The dash on a 2001 S class is tinny. The dash on a 1989 S class is solid.pIf the new G is less well built and Mercedes thinks it will now sell many more worldwide then I can see how there may be a price reduction. pIf it sells in the UK for Â48k it will be Toyota landcruiser

BMW Z3 E36 Review of Z4 M Coupe

I just thought Id give a small review of what I think of my M so far. I LOVE IT Its a fun little car to drive. When I first got it the shifter was a bit stiff but thats loosened up now (only 960 miles). I am still getting used to the grabbyness of the clutch but Im getting smoother. The sound from the engine is awesome especially at about 3000 RPM. I love the power. I havent really let it loose yet

FIAT PANDA Panda 4X4 Viscous or Solenoid

Hi does anyone have a definitive answer on what system Fiat now uses on the Panda 4X4 Ive read on this forum the many issues people have had with the solenoid actuation of the rear wheel drive but have a couple of other concerns. Does the new system now effectively lock the frontrear diff If so. is there any chance of transmission wind up like the Panda Classic 4X4 use to suffer from What was wrong

depend on it every day and that is enough. The ELD has always been an option in Europe even on the earlier viscous equipped cars it is just Fiat UK that have knocked it off the options list. Maybe they are to blame for the lack of technical data. Alot of other manufacturers use the brakes as a difflock nearly all I imagine now as the hardware is fitted as standard due to the ABS EBD and ESP . landrover

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS GL X164 mb...and the competition

Here is my opinion of what is available with a 3rd row. Lexus LX470--being discontinued. I already own it. 3rd row seats are impossible to remove and install. Power is sub-par in this category. And who knows when its replacement will come out (2008 model)...im sure it will be a very very awesome vehicle and probably better than the MB to be honest. Volvo xc90--off road credentials not impressive. Smaller.

MERCEDES BENZ Securing mogs...

Hi Moggers I would like to hear if any moggers have thought of a way to increase the security of their mog. Meaning being able to easily lock and feel that it is not easily breached. I only have a lock on the drivers door and it appears to be easy to defeat not much detail on the cut of the key... I intend to travel to a more petty theft plagued area and would like to think of ways to mitigate any or most attempts... btw...i drive a 416 doka..

Over hear for land rovers you can get a box that fits over the foot peddles and locks in place so non of the foot peddles are assessable it wouldnt take to much fabrication it make something to go around the clutch and brake peddle to stop them being pushed down and to place something around the padlock hasp so bolt croppers cannot get into the disk padlock you could also get a motorcycle security
