JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Help with WCMSKREEM

New here to the forum... have been reading and searching posts for a problem I am having currently with my 05 liberty Limited. The dash light (mil) for low tire came on... and on the information screen it says Low presure spare... So I get my trusty tire gauge out and it reads 35 psi for the spare and the other four tires... so I bump it up to 36 because it is getting colder here and thinking my gauge

I think your problem is the SKIM moduleif you had a WCM problemyou would also have problem with the remote unlockinglocking doors.

Hello Im new to the site I have read alot on here... but needed to ask a question so I decided to register. I realize this thread is well over 6-7 years old but I just happen to have the exact same problem... and have double checked everything. My question since its an old thread are there any mopar techs on here that have seen this issue with the mopar remote start kit I suspect the Sentry Key Remote Entry module which is located around the ignition switch key tumbler... my remote start does not work and the TPMS does not work both related to the skreem. If the skreem is bad the dealer installs a new one and has to reprogram your keys... is there a way to check for sure its bad or does it have to go back to the dealer. I subscribe to All Data and I found no technical service bulletins on this issue. The only thing that comes up is the hood switch has been replaced but my kit came with the newest hood switch. Any help is appreciated Nick 2005 liberty Limited 120000 miles

installed in this vehicle. Something about the chip in the fob and not being able to bypass it which the system needs to do to enable the auto start. I have no idea if this is true. I read it in 3 or 4 different places so I sort of let it drop. I had a premium auto start installed into my wifes car (2011 Impala) and it works fine. I dont want to wast 300 bucks if its not going to work with the jeep

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Please HELP Electrical gremlins are back (

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Chimes - Its driving me nuts

2004 liberty. I know some people cant think for themselves unless a chime is running a battery down. Im REALLY tired of everytime I start my liberty open a door with keys left in ign or even want to move the liberty down the driveway without my seat belt on I get chimed to death Baring cutting the electricial trace to the chime on the PCM board like I did on my 02 Dakota is there ANY other way to stop it Ive been driving for many many years. I dont need this BS blasting at me. Thanks

Let me know if this helps or if you still need more info. This circuit board is located behind the guages. A chime warning system is standard factory-installed equipment. The chime warning system uses an electromechanical transducer and an electromechanical relay that are soldered onto the electronic circuit board inside of the ElectroMechanical Instrument Cluster (EMIC) (1) to provide audible indications

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Australian vs USA computer swap

A friend of mine who lives in Australia has a 2003 3.7 Liter liberty and his ECU crapped out. Apparently everywhere he looked around him is trying to get 2000 and he found substantially cheaper ones here in the US but when he tried to order one but when he told them it was for an Australian liberty he was told that it was an export only part that it had to be ordered from Chrysler in Australia. Ive

OK just looked at my 2005 FSM and it says that when a new PCM is installed it only needs to be flashed with the VIN and the odometer reading. According to the manual the only consequence of not doing this is that a trouble code will be set which suggests that the jeep should still run if you dont do it. The country code is only an issue with the BCM and the security key is only an issue if the skreem (Sentry Key Remote Entry module) is replaced at the same time as the PCM.

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Anyway to disable the tire pressure monitor system or TPM )

Subject says it all....... i put some aftermarket wheels on my 05 Libby and now have to deal with the annoying light on my dash and quick beep error code from the EVIC....... not a big deal but annoying enough.

Its not illegal to not have the TPM you cant turn it off its part of the wireless control module (or skreem module depending on the vehicle) which also controls the transponder in the key and the RKE. Its there to stay dealers cant disable it and cant reset it. It has to reset on its own when the sensors are in place. The EVIC has nothing to do with the TPM anymore all it does is display the results.

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Added EVIC to 06 KJ. TPMS questions...

I added an EVIC to my 06 KJ Sport. Works like a champ. When I start up I get a warning on the EVIC that tire pressure sensors are missing or not operating. Hitting the CT button gets rid of the warning so no problem. Im assuming that my KJ doesnt have the TPMS sensors in the rims since it was before they were mandated and I didnt have the EVIC. I want to add TPMS when I buy new tires (still a ways

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE code P1685 EXPERIENCE

Hi I just got code P1685... I know its a SKIM issue invalid key or PCM issue. jeep is still running. The only different thing that I did was install an AutoZone Idle Air Control Valve this past Friday. We do have non dealership cut keys I had them cut as spares just to be safe BUT we use the original keys in the car. jeep has factory security system and we installed an aftermarket remote starter and

First thing I would do is clear your codesand see if the P1685 come back. This could be intermittent problem. If it comes backthen you either have a problem with the skreemWCM moduleor PCMmy guess would be WCM since there have been problem in 08 with WCMs including my own 08KK.

JEEP WRANGLER Key FOB not working original key no longer works... HELP

If you dont want to read to much go to the last paragraph and then read the beginning for more information. This adds on to my electrical nightmare Ive been having for about 2 months now... it all started when my jeep power seemed to dim. I figured it was either the battery or the alternator. I kept driving until one day it just died on me in the street... I pop started it in reverse and heard a horrible

You have the SKIS key system in your TJ. You need to google this .. JEEP WRANGLER III JK Clock Doesnt Keep Good Time in JK

Granted this is sort of silly and trivial but a basic digital clock in the factory radio should keep pretty good time. No joke I can set it with my iPhone and in two days its 2-3 off. Another thing....while Im complaining...I rarely listen to CDs but threw one in my 2010 JK last week and its stuck in there. What is this 1980 The last thing I want to do is have to put money into an aftermarket in-dash radio. Anyone else noticed their clock not keeping the best time Mike
