JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Transplant Liberty Limited Leather Seats in a Sport Base Model

Has anyone transferred jeep liberty PowerLeather seats into their liberty Sport I only see one connector under the manual seats in my 2005 and assume that is for the airbag sensor. I know the PowerLeather seats have two connectors one for the sensor and one for the power. So its not a simple plug and play... Has anyone successfully upgraded not just reupholstered their manualbase seats

I bought 2005 Limited Leather w Power & Heat seats off of ebay. I won the auction for 286.00 plus 100.00 shipping so 386.00 total. Great deal I think They went into my 2005 jeep liberty Sport. I thought that everything would just be plug in play because they were going from a 2005 to another 2005 but I was wrong. My harnesses under both the Driver and Passanger side did not have the appropriate power

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Anyone with seat belt latch problems

Started having problems with the drivers side seat belt latch recently. Sometimes it would get slightly stuck when pressing (releasing) the red button on the receiving end. Now it gets stuck and I have to reach up from underneath the assembly and manually push up on the red latch button to get it to ready position otherwise the seat belt (male end) wont engage. Anyone else with this problem Any suggestions or experience with this

the exact same problem except with the latch for the right rear seat. I was actually outside of warranty but I called the dealer and talked to the service manager. I explained that almost no one ever used that latch and Ive probably had less than 50 cycles on it at the time. The service manager said hed have to charge me 80 plus parts. So I said no thanks then got online and wrote an e-mail to jeep

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Child Seat Installation Problems

We just purchased a new 2005 liberty. It is our first jeep and we love it. We are expecting the birth of our son shortly (102204) and I decided it was time to install the rear facing infant car seat in the back of the liberty. We attached the base for the seat in one of the rear outside seating positions using the LATCH connections and belts. I followed all of the instructions in the Owners Manuals

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Help with seat covers...

I have a 2005 jeep liberty Limited. I have the same problem as everyone else with the seats staining. After I clean them following the TSB instructions I want to install a nice set of seat covers. The problem is that I have the highback front seats (head rest and seat all once piece) and I am having a really hard time finding seat covers to fit. All the ones I have found so far are for seats with detached

parts websites you just have to do a little searching for the best price. btw i have katzkin seat covers and they are much better than the original cloth seat covers...but not worth the price. This is confusing eh My back seats are low with the detached headrests but my front seats are high. The head rest is all together with the seat. So back seats are low and front seats are high. I saw on jeeps

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Liberty Limited Leather Seats

Does anyone in jeep land know if the back and sides of the seats in the liberty Limited with Leather seat option are in fact Leather or is it just a good vinyl imitation I use LEXOL Leather cleaner and conditioner on the seating surfaces (seat bottom and back) but there is no benefit to using it on the backs and sides if it is not genuine leather. I asked this question to the dealer and he did not know. Thanks in advance for your help FLAME

I definitely agree there is no lateral support and I feel like my butt is gonna fall of the seat even my civic seats have more bolsters than these. The bottom portion gets a big thumbs down from me.

I test drove three Liberties before purchase. The drivers seat in one of them created the feeling of pitching forward. When picking up my ordered liberty I was worried it would have the uncomfortable seating but to my great relief there was no problem. In fact I have taken 12-hour trips and suffered no discomfort. If your seats continue to cause you trouble you should consider taking your jeep back to demand an exchange under warranty.

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Seatcovers

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Please respond - has you 3.7 dropped a valve seat

In my opinion i think the 3.7L

What could cause this Kind of important because I cant sit without my head being tilted to the side as it sits. Haha. Thanks for the input.

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE What are the differences between seat mounts in a KJ JK and others

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Seat belt malfunction on new KK Serious safety issue

Theres something about pulling on seat belts to test their stopping speed that I like. Tonight I tried pulling at the driver seat belt on my new jeep liberty. I pulled then a little faster then a bit faster then nearly as fast as I could and it still didnt lock. I finally pulled with all my speed and the belt locked. But something is off. Theres no way a seat belt should lock at a minimum of that kind

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE 02 Liberty Airbag Light - replace seatbelt

Hi guys. Im new around here and Ive got a 500 question. The airbag light comes on and stays on when starting the truck. I took it to the dealer and was advised that there is a short and I need to replace the seatbelt assembly. However I learned this morning that if I am NOT sitting in the truck the light doesnt come on at all. If the truck is running and I climb in the seat the light comes on immediately.

Im gonna take a guess here from what I have noticed with our liberty. There are sensors in the seat that sense your position. When you are not there the comp. isnt worried about you. When you sit down the comp. says ok your here you need to put on your seatbelt or I wont deploy the airbag if we have an accident. Our liberty does that when my dog(German shepard) sits on the passenger seat. The seat

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE 06 Heated Seat & Light Bar (Factory order)

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE can someone do me a favor and take a few pics and measurements of your back seat

hey everybody i dont want anyone to go out of their way but if someone has time and is going to take pics of their liberty for whatever reason can you include a few shots of the back seat like where and how it mounts in particularly the top half. can you also just give me a quick overall length and height too i have a xj and was thinking of maybe trying to retrofit a kj rear seat into it. i should

Went out and took a few pics and then realized when I read your post again that you wanted pics of the top part of the seat. I was thinking like a jeeper and took pics of a bunch of brackets and stuff.... Hope the pics are somewhat useful. A couple of them show the seat itself. I saw that someone left you measurements already and I AM lazy so I wont duplicate the effort. liberty rear seat pics BTW 05 Sport.

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE Leather Seats warranty

JEEP LIBERTY CHEROKEE uncomfortable seats

Can anyone please tell me what is wrong with the 02 liberty seats Is it the cushion the framing both or the height and angle that makes them so uncomfortable Are there any aftermarket seats that can fit in place of the factory seats Ive even heard that the Grand Cherokee (yr) has very comfortable seats and they may be interchangable with the liberty. (truefalse) These seats feel like I need a hip replacement 30 years before my time.
