KIA SORENTO II XM Canadian 2012 Sorento EX V6 Luxury or Hyundai Santa Fe V6 Limited

Hi I am awaiting the arrival of a EXV6 Luxury and am somewhat second guessing wondering if I should go instead with a hyundai santa Fe Limited Both 2012 V6. Im in Canada and am disgusted by the prices of new vehicles compared to the US its over 25% more when there is no other product out there that is so out of whack with pricing for Canada vs USA pricing. As far as I can tell its out of whack no matter

KIA SORENTO II XM Comparison - Santa Fe vs Sorento

In the market for new vehicle. I have tried the new 2011 Sorento and the new 2010 santa Fe. Was wondering if anyone else went through this and would like to share their opinions. What I found was that the price basically was the same as we were comparing the V6 EX and the SF LTD. Standard equip here would go to Sorento Economy is the same Engine choices are the same except that here in Canada the I4

Normally this is true but this time KIA went loco goofy. 072009-082010 is not a MY2010. And 2009-72011 will be a MY2011 MY2009 9 VIN CODE MY2010 A VIN CODE and was offically skipped there is none in the Sorento MY2011 B VIN CODE The Moderators are still working on correcting the goof up in the forum headings. Give them time. I was comparing the newest (and revised) offerings from both Kia and hyundai

We have only owned our 08 LX V6 four weeks so I may not be qualified to offer much advice about the car just yet. So far though Ive been impressed by and satisfied with our new Rondo. Ill also mention that over the past 25 years Ive owned mostly Toyotas (6) plus a 87 Acura Integra and 05 Mazda 3i. Since you say you already own a santa Fe Im assuming you realize that hyundai and Kia vehicles are produced

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 The end of an era...

From April of 2000 Ive had a 3 series BMW in the garage at all times. Be it my E46 323Ci my beater E30 318is or my wifes E92 328i. Well...Almost no more. It was inevitable. Theres just no justifiable reason for us to have more than one two door car or small sedan in the household anymore. While I dont exactly consider the X3 a 3 series it would have sort of kept the streak alive in that it was basically

the look of the Tuscon when she saw it on the road. Not sold on a SUV yet but lugging the little one around in a coupe has opened her eyes to needing at least 4 doors possibly an SUV. How does it drive My impressions with the 2010 santa Fe were that it was severely underpowered but perhaps the Tuscon uses the same engine and is lighter no The hardest part is getting over the fact youre driving a hyundai.

NISSAN Have You Thought About Test Driving Anything Else

hey everyone im coming from an 03 altima but also own an 08 altima im pretty familiar with the cvt proscons anyhow im looking to get into a used rogue looking at 09s they go for about 13-15k with 100KM im in hamilton just outside toronto can any 0809 owners give me some feedbacks on there rogues as far as enjoyment of driving reliability etc i still havent test driven one but i have this thought in

Depends on the year the santa Fe was redesigned in 2007 pre-2007 models werent very good. 2007 sold millions and were highly regarded as one of those models that was over-designed as hyundai had something to prove and needed to secure their place in the market place as a top quality auto maker. Its too bad the used Rogues were so beat up its disappointing to see how people treat their equipment. If

KIA SORENTO II XM New Sorento

Hi Everyone I just picked up a new 2011 Sorento LX FWD 6MT in Silver. I couldnt be happier with the purchase. The 4cyl engine is well matched to the manual transmission. Coming from a 2007 BMW 328i Im really impressed with the fit and finish of this car. I look forward to participating in this forum Ive already learned lots of great info Cheers Adam Uploaded with ImageShack.us

A Canadian No way LOL Im actualy going to be purchasing a LX black with the 6MT hows the feel of the MT vs the auto did u do a comparisson I only had an auto to test drive at the dealer so i Headed down to hyundai to test drive the santa fe since its got the same engine and transmission Mind me asking what u ended up paying in the end and did they toss any extras in fyi for anyone who hasnt compared

NISSAN Low Tire Pressure Indicator Light

Does anyone know how to reset the tire pressure indicator light. My light has been on for the past two weeks--ever since it got really cold. I had my tires checked at Jiffy Lube and they are at the correct pressure. Jiffy Lube said I had to drive over 40 mph on a highway for 20 min to reset it. Is this right

as far as I am concerned. I have a 2006 Acura TL and those stupid lights come on ALL the time. I am in Denver and the altitude at my home is 6000 above sea level. Yes the Acura dealer tells me to overinflate the tires to get rid of the irritating lights. I am certain the service manager or mechanic have not had as much training in physics relating to air pressure as I have. I also have a 2007 hyundai

But underneath were expecting to find the same all-new platform that underpins hyundais

NISSAN Avoiding the Purchase of a Rogue

My wife wants to replace her sedan with a wagon-type vehicle and she was attracted to the new 2008 Nissan Rogue. She likes the style and the fact that it is so carlike (shes never owned a truck-based SUV). We took several test drives in the rogue at several different dealers which helped her overcome her uneasy feeling of sitting higher up than in a regular car. We also had some difficulty locating

Go with the Rogue you will love it my friend recently bought a 07 CRV and the CRV looks like a mini van. KIA MAGENTIS II Hi New member here (sort of)

Hey... Alex here. I have been trolling around here for awhile finally thought I would post some stuff. I had a 2003 hyundai Elantra GT and sold it for a 2008 Kia Optima 2.4 LX back in February 2009 with 12000 miles on it. KIA SORENTO I JC Thoughts on the Sorento and its 4WD system

My wife is looking for a smaller SUV and we noticed a 2006 model at a local dealership. Were going to try and test drive it tomorrow. Before we drive it I just would like to know what you owners really think of your Sorento. This is a 4WD model and was wondering what type of 4WD system does it have. I wont buy it if its the AWD system. I hope its the system where I can engage the system when I want. So what are your overall impressions of your Sorento Thanks for all your help

you mention the Sportage. We drove through the Kia dealership the other day and my wife noticed the Sportage and remarked that it was a nice looking small SUV. I thought for sure the interior would be pretty cheap looking but it was rather nice. Actually I dont need 4WD so my first choice would be a 2WD. Trouble is there are no used Sportages around but I did a little research and found out the hyundai

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 sold on the 335i but 1 tiny problem...

hey all It is my first post here and hopefully ill make many more posts. Im Mike i live in Minnesota they have a giant BMW showroom etc. I am 16 having just obtained my license a few months ago. Its a great feeling but I also need a car that I can have for myself. Now the parents have agreed to let me lease any car i want so naturally i chose BMW seeing as its a pretty high-profile car. They said fine

that my first car was a 87 VW cabriolet which I ran into a curb and bent the suspension thereby totalling the entire car (I was racing my friend in his mitsubishi micro van). I had the VW for about a month. After that I moved onto a 99 Ford Ranger which I had for a year and a half until college. I didnt have my own car for about 4 years. KIA SORENTO I JC Installing aftermarket stereo

Hello to everyone. Newbe here and glad to have found this forum. I am installing a Kenwood DDX470 stereo in my 2007 Sorento LX. I have searched old posts and info on the web and get more confused at every turn. I was told that I needed a PAC SOEM-4 because of the amplifier under the drivers seat but I just read a post that indicated that I dont need it. I purchased a Metra installation kit however

I needed a PAC SOEM-4 to install aftermarket stereo to my amplified system. My Kia Sorento had two stock radio plugs. I never got the PAC system working so just for people reading this post in the future here is what I did. 1. Buy a Metra Install Kit 70-7302 which has two plugs with color coded wires attached. Also buy a Scosche Install Kit KA03B. It states on the package that it is for 2006-UP hyundai

I have never had this problem with vehicles in the past but none of them had a windshield sloped as far back as this either. Id like to know the thoughts here particularly to address his comments on the engine and the struts. His comments... NISSAN RoadWind Noise Solution

Love my Rogue but it is quite noisy when driving at faster speeds...anything over 40mph...I dont think this is engine noise as that seems quite quiet but more wind noise. I cant afford or really want to make the effort to take everything out of the interior(seats carpet console etc.) and install dynamat or something like that. Ive read on here that the door seals are quite thin and cheap and was trying

than my Rogue (I hate to say it but Im just calling it like I see it the Ford is starting to win me over). The hybrid powertrain is noisy but the suspension and overall cabin noise is much less than my Rogue. Also we bought a new Mazda 3 in 05 and it has such superior quality and absolute quiet operation it really highlights the shortcomings of my Nissan AND the same goes for my father-in-laws hyundai

KIA SORENTO II XM Kia Sorento vs Toyota Highlander

We are looking to buy a new vehicle and the Sorento is pretty close to what we need but we are comparing some other vehicles in that sizerange. We were looking at things like V6 AWD tow package backup camera etc and the 2013 Kia we looked at was like 37k which works out a little more than the Highlander with many of the same options and is a little over the budget of where I want to be (30k to 34k

refinement and to me its actually not in the same class as it is significantly longer with a standard 3rd row seating whereas the Sorento is smaller and the 3rd row is just an option and not a central component. I love our Sorento but with AWD and V6 I would take my 40000 and check out the Highlander or Honda Pilot. Also the redesigned Pathfinder with be out this fall and the new long-wheelbase hyundai

KIA SORENTO II XM Ongoing Poor Fuel Consumption for Kia Sorento 2.2 TD

Hi All I previously posted an issue about poor fuel consumption three months ago and I wanted to find out what fuel consumption everyone else was getting. I have a Kia Sorento 2.2 SLi TD and have done around 3000km (on to my 5th tank). The car is almost never in bumper-to-bumper traffic and at least half of the mileage is on weekends doing day trips on open roads. When I take the car out on the motorways

But in saying that I am thrilled with fuel consumption we are getting. We had a hyundai Tucson V6 AWD before which we traded in. We were happy with the car but dissapointed in the poor fuel economy averaging around 14-15L100km. We nearly went with the santa Fe but when I found out the Sorento had the same engine and drivetrain and in my opinion better looks We went with the KIA and am not sorry. (The dealer however is another matter)

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS E II 210 Have we become Mild Eccentrics

We love our bright silver 02 4matic wagon. Its quiet comfortable spacious and delivers a solid 28 mpg while travelling. Heretofore Ive even considered it handsome and even a bit chic. We married our daughter recently and - while loading post wedding stuff into Broomhilda - one of the twentysomething wedding guests quite kindly mentioned that it must be quite something to have such an old car. Funny

I got my first W124 after my 2000 Dodge Truck was totaled and my hyundai santa Fe needed more work then I felt like putting into it. I kept that a year until I knew it was too much and got my 2000 W210 which IS a new car to most people who see it.. I actually had a couple of my friends kids ask me to take them to Prom in it (and I am).... I am in a better finacial status than some and I choose to buy

MERCEDES BENZ CLASS C III 204 C350 MPG question.

Im looking to buy 2013 c350 sedan this fall and i would like to know from the owners of the same or similar vehicle with new V6 3.5L engine. Whats the best MPG you have achieved in the city and on highway I have a 2001 BMW 740i and EPA states 22MPG on highway but i was able to get 30MPG and an average of 27MPG on highway. So im wondering if anyone got 35MPG with C350. Thanks.

with mpg. For example if you getting 15mpg fuel guage will show half a tank of fuel. But once the mpg goes up to lets say average 28mpg fuel guage will show that you have 34 of tank of fuel. And if you getting an average 5mpg fuel level guage will drop to 14. It takes about 10 miles of driving at constant average MPG to see a change on fuel guage. Is this the same on MB I had a rental 2010 hyundai
