FORD F150 Auto Springs 2.0 front lift

I bit the bullet today and ordered the 2 front lift from Auto springs for my 2004 f-150 4x4 Supercrew. With the Thanksgiving holiday being this week I more than likely will not recieve it until next Monday. I am looking forward to getting this thing leveled out a little. The trailer towing package option makes the rear to front rake unbearable. I will also be recieving my X-Calibrator from Mike Troyer

If you got it from Mike you will like the results. I rode in Anitas truck (Mikes wife) and on the 93 octane maximum performance tune it really puts down some power. You can smoke the tires at will and the shift points are unbelieveable...Cant wait to get mine.

FORD F150 34 drop with only springs

I was just wondering if any one has used this kit from suspension max. It uses a pair of 3 drop coil springs for the front and I want to know if there is any problems with the ride being that its only springs and no lower control arm I figure the rear would be fine. Thanks for any help...

problem with ANY 3 inch front lowering coil springs is bumpsteer. Due to the geometryangles of the steering linkage being outta wack your toe angles will move in a way that will cause your steering to seem somewhat unstable. The only way to reduce the effect is to use lowering control arms and or a bumpsteer kit (the lightning forum has a thread on the new kits offered). Although I could never afford

FORD F150 want to add coil springs if possible

FORD F150 Air suspension CK SUSP indicator

Recently my 2000 Expedition with 4 wheel LLS has been displaying the CK SUSP indicator after about an hour on the highway. When this indicator is displayed the rear looks like like the air springs have been jacked up to their maximum height (the front looks normal). The suspension eventually returns to its normal height when I turn the engine off and the warning light never come on during short trips.

out of curiosity i checked out the tundra on the toyota website. If i were gonna get one it would be the 5.7 4wd crew max. however what is shocking is the wimpy 1575 lb payload My 06 cc se 4wd has a payload just a tad under 1400 lbs Doesnt seem to be a good tow vehicle with such a low payload. I guess ill wait to see what nissan offers for the next gen titan.

FORD F150 Combining a 6 suspension with a coil spacer

Hello all I have a 2008 F150 FX4 super crew. It has a 6 Pro Comp suspension lift in it and I am running 35 Mickey Thompson Mud terrains. I have been contemplating on combining my 6 suspension lift and a 1.5 coil spacer and some add a leafs to get a total of close to 8 lift. I dont want to do a body lift I was just curious how much the drive line angles change Having any problems I have read a few threads

Which Pro Comp lift do you have The Stage one with the 6 inch spacer and OEM coilovers or the Stage two with the MX6 coilovers If you have the stage 2 you can just crank up the preload on them to add extra height up front. Some people believe that stacking a leveling kit on top of the 6 inch spacer in the Stage 1 kit is a bad idea. A better option would be to replace the OEM coilovers with Bilstien

yep it will haul it. ive had my truck loaded heavier than that a few times. its not pretty but it can do it. if theres a way to split the load do it. much easier on the truck. as you start loading keep an eye on the springs and the front end. remember that your front end can get light enough to make steering a problem. common sense will prevail. good luck Rich.

For now that means the general height weight and width requirements that apply to all other vehicles in the state apply to your four-by. FORD F150 Needing advice on replacing Bridgstones

Had Bridgstone Duelers put on my new 99 F 150 in December of 99. The service advisor said if my truck is not pulling then I need not any allinement. I dont like the way the tires are wearing being worn in the middle much more then the outside. 2 service guys looked at the tires and both said theyve never seen it that bad and told me to come back Monday to talk with the manager. QUESTION What or how

as inflation goes I wouldnt recommend running the tire at 45psi if the maximum cold pressure rating on the sidewall is 50psi. Im running my BFGs at 40psi (the max sidewall rating is 50psi). At that pressure the tire has a nice contact patch and doesnt bulge excessively. The tire store put 30psi in them originally but the tires bulged at the bottom too much and my Expedition rode way too soft. ford
