punto 2002 8v 1.2 p0130 changed the pre cat sensor as it was tested and found to be died. The new sensor works within live data and switching as normal. After a day or to of driving the engine light pings back on and the code is the same each time p0130 sometimes p0170 appears but not all the time. Also have i have checked for vac leaks but none has been found. Any ideas

Hi guys need some help...ive got a punto 1.2 16v sporting 51 plate and its running rough . It started about 2 weeks ago but nothing too serious and then all of a sudden just went . Hi I have an MOT problem with my punto it is showing following readings for emission CO 9.96% should be 0.3% HC 740 ppm should be 200 lambda 0.72 should be between 0.97 and 1.03 The garage has asked both catalytic converter and sensor to be replaced at a cost of about 500 I want to know whether these readings suggest a definite failure or something can be done to tune also are both components failed

When i drive when i stop at drive through (takeaway) or traffic lights my engine idles at around 9 then jumps up to 20 or 30 then drops down to 9 then revs again and nearly stalls and drops below normal idle point. Whilst general driving engine stops suddenly - red battery light oil light etc but as im moving i just change gear and it jumps back to lif I have recalibrated ecu using fiatecu i have cleared

right... may be a bit of an essay so bare with me... drove to work and felt a bit of a bump when driving at the time i thought i just hit a small rock in the road or something so thought nothing of it as the car drove fine after that moment but on driving home going up a steepish hill in 2nd there was a couple of loud bangs which sounded like it came from the back end and the car started to judded

FIAT PUNTO Coughing and spluttering engine

Hi everyone would appreciate some helpadvice. The engine on my mk2 punto 1.2 8v has started coughing and spluttering and struggles to build revs when its out of gear and some black smoke comes out of the exhaust. It has no power and if I attempt to drive it as soon as I approach a junction and engage the clutch the engine dies like its stalling. A few work mates have suggested the pre-cat lambda sensor and another said it could be the EGR valve any help would be greatly appreciated.

Engine codes are as follows. p0130 - O2 sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 1 P0460 - Fuel level sensor A circuit P0202 - Injector circuit open cylinder 2 P0203 - Injector circuit open cylinder 3 Any help would be greatly appreciated gents.
