I assume headlight washer jets were factory fitted on some models. I have never seen them so are they the type that pop up when you activate them or are they visible above the bumper all the time If they are the pop up type you are probably in trouble but it they are the other type could you replace them with screen washer jets from Halfords They do quite a range. The only problem there would be that
Mine have never worked on this one and to be honest i have never looked into why maybe i will soon are you talking about he whole unit or just teh jets
i need the two headlight washers (whole unit) because im fitting the HLX bumper to my SX Dont mind if its the bravoa or marea Washers just need 2 of them otherwise i cant fit the bumper
the washer stalk back for a few seconds you can here the motor as its quite noisy. I noticed that quite a few have blockages and if leaft to run dry then quite often will develop a air lock. The wiring is present on all models as far as I know look for a unconnected plug by the washer motor on the tank. the wiring was present but when i hocked the motor up to the existing wire nothing happend fiat

Set of HLXELX bumpers too with the washer jets and foglights
Originally Posted by Hellcat Set of HLXELX bumpers too with the washer jets and foglights Yup certainly the fogs are usefull although never sure just how much the washer jets help. Just remember you cant fit a marea bumper though without some modification. So get a Bravo one.

Just to clarify The car is very noisy on tickover but sounds far better when moving. The injector warning light comes on intermittently. If I push the car the light is on then if I back off a bit it extinguishes. I have tried a bit of a injector cleaner additive (after reading advice in the forum about jets being blocked) and now and again the engine starts running silently before returning to noisy running. Are the diesels always prone to getting jets clogged up
you have any more details there dave of the rat sport washer kits i would have thought that a t junction and some aquarium hose from a pet shop and then a pair of window screen washer jets would do it for a lot less but if the rat sport kit is cheap then that would seal it for me the home brew kit would be about a tenner or less with the jets from a scrap yard and would be fitted in less than an hour

Suprised they dont use the washers on the Bravo on the 100hp and the rest of the range. Maybe it is a genuine new feature Basically rather than jets there is a wide spray - similar to what comes out of a jet-washer. Its brilliant for getting a decent coverage of water before the wipe. And this comes from someone who had a perfectly healthy marea 8-jet washer before.

Maybe try old Bravomarea ones I never had a problem with them and they froze up a number of times. Look very similar but with 4 jets each.
Guide is here httpwww.fiatforum.combravo-brava...avo-marea.html Adrian Bravo thanked for this post
bravo brava and marea there are very few scrapyards in britain that wont have one in stock.

like jug said these went from cool to chav over night they now as common as led washer jets was
yeah they do but theyre bloody expensive. twice as much as brava handles. so are the light washer jets (well over here anyway) Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX wish itd clean itself
You will probably need to poke a pin in the jets theyl be blocked
as others have said enlist a willing helper... locate the hose where it runs to the bonnet lid find the Y splitter and pull the hose off... now get your helper to activate the washer on the stalk... if you have good pressure their you have managed to narrow it down to either the Y splitter (it has a non return valve in it immsmc) or blocked jets (have you used washing up liquid in the bottle by any
Thanks for the replies theres water coming in from the y splitter so im guessing the pump is fine and its the y splitter at fault. Going to find one now. Problem happpenned because i did the stupid new driver thing which is to use the jets when its -5 degrees thinking it will be fine i need some water to clear the frost....
Symetrical rear lights fitted viewed from afar. And rear mud flappers. I will get some close up pics later. Colour coded door handles next I think. You can get a fiat marea Centre console as Neverth said I guess your saying the door handles are rotting like this one at the top Its a common fault You can change them for fiat marea handles that are a hard plastic or with modification Alfa 147(has a gap at the back) or 2007 fiat 500 handles. (perfect fit) Ive also seen a 3rd party direct replacement door handle on eBay that could be better quality.

last year for 3500 it had no WOF or Reg it went to an Aussie apparently they never made it to AUS. But they have a cult following over there. He exported it back to AUS. It had a strong motor and had all the rust taken out but as always with 131s the cancer came back. Great car though lots of fun when on good tyres. Hi Merlin welcome to the forum You can fit better washer jets from a 2007 Bravo See httpwww.fiatforum.combravo-brava...avo-marea.html
