FIAT DUCATO Fuse Blowing

Hi All I have a 1996 2.5TD ducato based Hymer B534. Returning from Hampshire on Sunday I noticed that my fuel guage and temperature guage were both reading zero pulled over and found that the number one fuse had blown tried replacing it but it blows as soon as you turn on the ignition. Main problem being that I had also lost indicators so had to drive home using hand signals as best as we could. So

For anyone interested in this I had a go at trying to locate the fault yesterday and now have everything back working. Removed the lower portions of the dash to get at the wiring unclipped the speedo cable from a grommet under the bonnet to allow me to push the instrument binacle forward enough to unclip the cable at that end then tested all the plugs and the flimsy circuit board on the back with my

FIAT DUCATO Wiring problem

Hi I was testing my horn to see why it was not working and found a couple of results I did not expect first there was 12v both sides of steering wheel push button and when pressed dropped down in voltage and second when checking fuse board in glove box pulled out fuse for horn and also shared with electric windows and there was 12v both sides(with fuse out) so pulled out pink wire to window still 12v

FIAT DUCATO Ducato light fault on Swift Motorhome

I have an Ace Napoli motorhome from Swift based on a ducato 35 100 multijet registered 2007. The front offside sidelight rear offside tail light and rear offside (high) marker light are not working . The front nearside sidelight front (high) nearside and offside marker lights rear nearside tail light and rear nearside (high) marker light are all working . The Swift wiring diagrams show the nearside

Ken Have you spoken to Swift It could be that there is another fuse board located elsewhere. I am sure that you must have tried for power at the lamp connections easy to forget the obvious if not all I could suggest is to back track along the wires until you find a break in power. Sorry I cant be more specific. Regards Stewart Just had a look at Swifts site (lots of handbooks) not sure which is yours

FIAT DUCATO Ducato X250 front foglights

Hello I had a 2007 X250 with front foglights. I now have a 2009 X250 without. The wireing to the front is in place the fuse under the bonnet is in place. I have also aquired a bespoke pair of front foglights and a switch bank which includes the front foglight switch. I have fitted the new bank of switches with no problem. 1. Is there a relay which I need to fit if so which one. 2. How do I remove the two blanks in the front bumper to fit the spotlights. Thank You.

Where did you guyz get the foglamps to fit and were they original or after market. From my previous experience with Renault if the fogs are not fitted standard then the fuse.relay board will not accomodate them at all so better off to wire them in with dipped headlamps as this is the only legal way to use them.

I have a motorhome on a fiat ducato. I removed the battery to charge it (as it was flat) However when I went to start up the van there was no lights on the dash and was unable to start it. It has a Toad immobilser and I have tried everything to get it going. I can openclose the van with the fiat key but thats about all I can do. Any ideas

I would start by checking the mega fuses on the battery positive terminal board. what is the battery voltage and voltages on the equipment side of the fuses
