FIAT DOBLO Doble remote not working

I have just got a 2006 doblo van with only one key and the remote doesnt work on it So I need some options to get my remote CDL working. My first thought was to swop my alarm off my old van but due to the can bus on the doblo this isnt that easy to do wiring diagram would help.. Next I thought I would get a can bus alarm set up for fiat but they seem to want to use the fiats remote (back to square

FIAT DOBLO Doblo problems and hints on repair

Im new to the forum so I though you might like my hints of the doblo. I have owned mine for the last two years clocking up 92000 miles hard motoring. Of coarse I have had some faults and here they are. 1. Engine overheated without warning resulting in new engine fitted at 21000 miles. Damaged head apparently. 2. Central locking system would not unlock rear doors. Luckily I was able to open them from

from the inside by forcing the latch from its catch bar. The problem was the plastic piece fitted to the remote locking that operates the door mechanisms. This had broken. I made one in metal and its been fine since. My rear door refused to lock and unlock with the central locking - I had to use the key. It was the plastic arm which broke. This little plastic piece onf nonsense is the bane of my doblos

FIAT DOBLO 2 problems with doblo cargo

Hi guyshope you can help me here with a couple of questions 1 .Ive not used my doblo Cargo 1.9 jtd for around a week. Its never failed to start in 4 yearsnot once. Now suddenly there is a yellow warning light appeared which I think is an immobilizer light (half car symbol with padlock through it) I didnt even know the van had one AnywayI really need it running for work.Is there anyway to bypass it etc

yeh thats a shame otherwise i would test it for you. In fact i do have 2 transponder aerial testers. 1 of them also tests remotes are sending RF signal. I could post my tester to you. Its very simply to use. You literally just turn it on put it as near to the ignition barrel as possible put you key in the ignition then turn ignition to position 2. A green light illuminates & you hear a beep if its

Yeah Ive got a Cobra alarm and as you point out the Meta system runs alongside the normal key fob with no problems. I use the blob keyring to unlocklockpanic alarm and then use the key only for the ignition and they both still work.

FIAT DOBLO Considering buying a Doblo

Greetings dobloids I have joined the forum because my wife and I are seriously consideringa doblo as a replacement for our 2001 Renault Kangoo 4x4. The 1.4 petrol is our likely choice until such time as carmanufacturers sort out the DPF issue. Maybe 30K miles on an 07 plate orthereabouts. I am aware of the problems with the wiper boss the rear doorcatch and the rear suspension bumpstops. Are there

headlamp bulbs are a pig to replace by the way. So I am thinking very hard about replacing it. Mine doesnt have a DPF but I think i could live with one. The new doblos are far too expensive the Qubos are also expensive and i read here of problems I dont need so what am I to get Im still working on it. The new Panda I like but it is small and expensive for what it is so I am now looking away from fiat

FIAT DOBLO fiat doblo

hi guys newbie here with a couple of questions currently im driving a 03 fiat doblo cargo dsx 1.9 diesel its a good little van has given a few problems but no more or less than other makes and models but one gripe i have is that it really is a drag to drive.... fred flinstone would go up a hill faster than my doblo im not looking for a sports car but it really is very underpowered i dont carry heavy

could stop excessive pollution over its 10 year effective lifespan...rather ironic Also it appears from a TV programme that you can not use this system effectively in city environments without problems. And this surely is where it is most needed. I dont know this TV prog you are referring too (wife hides the TV remote) however I find the media likes to sensationalise a lot of things. However fiat

FIAT DOBLO Central locking

Hi Everyone I have just bought a 52 doblo 1.9jtd cargo. I have a couple of problems that i would like to sort out with the help of you if thats ok. The van has remote central locking but when i press the one button key fob the red light flashes but doors dont lock or unlock. Also if i was to lock the van with the key using the drivers door the locks would lock then unlock straight away. The only way

FIAT DOBLO Computer resetting itself

I have a 53 reg doblo 1.9 JTD with just over 100K miles on it. Recently Ive noticed the trip and MPG computer has reset itself to zero three times in the last couple of weeks. Its never done this before. On one morning last week the keycode light on the dash stayed on all the way to work but has remained off since There was a slight hesitancy in the car starting that morning but I put it down to the

My Panda works from about 2-3 car lengths away as did 500 Punto Mk2 and Seicento. Corsa always worked 5-6 car lengths away current Fiesta about 2-3. 1980s Renaults needed to be touching the car - not very remote. 1980s Rovers would work from quite a distance but if they received the wrong code 3 times theyd shut down and youd have to use the key. Frequent problems in car park owners being clever would

FIAT DOBLO Rear door gas struts

The last few days the rear door on my 03 1.9 jtd elx doesnt always open to its full height without a little help from me. Some days its ok. If it means the struts are going has anyone bought them From where Are they easy to replace I hope theyre not expensive

Well was going to pay Perrys a visit after work. Walked up to the car pressed the remote lifted the tailgate & it went nearly all the way up (about three inches shy) I mean surely brand new struts shouldnt be affected by the cold as much as older struts Ive never had problems with struts on other cars (although I guess the tailgates werent as heavy - but then I see on the lift-o-mat website that you can buy struts that exert huge forces. Maybe these just need to bed in & loosen up a bit

FIAT MULTIPLA why buy a multipla

hello thinking about buying a multipla anybody out there with advice what to look for. any does or donts are parts expensivewhat mpg are they worth buying.

Another view I have owned two Multiplas both bought secondhand a 2000 1.9JTD (sold on with 160k miles) which last year was changed for a 2006 1.9 multijet eleganza (today 48k miles). Love the Multiplas for all the reasons stated - there is nothing remotely like them for 6 passengers in terms of room visibility etc and yet they are not a van (sorry doblo owners). I do a lot of my own maintenance. They
