FIAT STILO Rear Suspension Knock

Hello Can anyone verify that this is legit before I buy new ones. My Multiwagon has a knocking sound from the back. A local mechanic had it up on the ramp and looked at the rear bushes to which he said that they looked fine what he did say that the rear shocks were faulty. He moved them from side to side along the top bolting pin mentioning that this would cause the knock. Does this sound plausible

pin mentioning that this would cause the knock. Lee. If the top shock absorber bush is moving along the bolt then either the bolt is loose or the rubber bush has perished. Ive never heard of the bushes perishing before though. . Attached Thumbnails   __________________ Stilo Parts For Sale Connect Nav Map Discs - Wiper Motor (NEW) croma Turbo i.e. Badges. Hi 1. The boot size is about the best in class. Bravo is not regarded as having very good rear legroom. All reviews point out the rear legroom is a bit tight but I have sit in the back and for me its more than enough. 2. If you opt for the new 1.6 105 (Eco pack optional) or 120bhp diesels then you can get up to 57-62mpg (62 with eco pack). 4. I drove the Sport versions both 150bhp diesel and 150bhp

Replace both Track Rod Ends for fiat Units Replace both Front

wrong is only a minor challenge then go for the 1.6 - a much nicer car to ride in for the same money now as a 1.4 I sold my Tipo (1989 1.6 DGT) in 2001 because it was too boring (there was nothing that needed fixing) too expensive and not fast enough (good handling or not I found it more sluggish than my Uno 60 (0-100kmh in 18 seconds) and couldnt quite get to 160kmh...) I replaced it with a fiat

FIAT MAREA 185 Poor old Marea Weekend

My lovely old Marea Weekend 1.9 JTD is fast approaching the end of the road. It has a crunching 2nd gear dodgy EGR intermittent crankcam sensor fault where the only way to start it is to rock it on the starter at touch then its off. Worn out disks and among other things some kind of sticky red fluid thats building in the passenger footwell (lhs). Yet it refuses to stick its toes up The thing is I

Thanks for the advice. My lad just said that the rear swinging armssuspension are a common problem on the croma and the electrics arent very reliable but hes a grumpy little bugger sometimes. I shall get over to the croma section and have a read. The othe excellent thing about being a Marea owner is the helpful advice to be found on this forum. My wife has a MK4 Espace (junk) and trying to get technical information and advice is like trying to find an honest banker.

onto the road this evening (for the first time in well over a month). Seeing it posed in the supermarket carpark I was pleasingly surprised by the shine on my paint polished ages ago (except the new paint that hasnt been touched). Thats what living in a garage does for it. It also slows the inevitable door rust bubbles (I have one spider in the drivers door) right down. Now if I can only fix the croma
