fiat croma pedal

Answers and questions: fiat croma pedal

FIAT BRAVO Has anybodys clutch pedal white clip broken.

The white clip which connects to the master cylinder rod has broken and come off the clutch pedal. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do. Because i have been looking everywhere for little white clip any info please.

According to the fiat parts catalogue some Bravos have the 2 part plastic clip as in the diagram below. Part 5 is a rectangular plastic clip and part 6 is a plastic cup that fits inside the clip. The part numbers for parts 5 and 6 are the same as for the Stilo and are available seperately from a dealer. Theres a long thread about it in Stilo section of the forum here httpwww.fiatforum.comstilo14491...nk-squeak.html

is right and its only available with the master cylinder. The other diagram below is from the eLEARN workshop manual. Doesnt say anything about a removable clip. Does your white clip fit in the black plastic part securely . Attached Thumbnails     __________________ Stilo Parts For Sale Connect Nav Map Discs - Wiper Motor (NEW) croma Turbo i.e. Badges. cylinder. Youll need a pressure cap for that. I made the one below from an old resevoir cap and bolt in schrader tyre valve to do my JTD 115. With such a small resevoir you only need a very low pressure. I use a bicycle pump. . Im only 57 and I have the seat on the lowest setting the wheel pedals and gears are all perfect for me.. I feel like Im sitting on it rather than in it if I wind the seat upto its highest setting. Perhaps it just takes some adjusting to get it right I can imagine if I was moving around 6foot people in the back then there could be an issue but had no problems so far with rear-seat passengers.

in the leg. I also like to sit high in a car - on it you might say. When I raise the seat in the Bravo to reach my optimum eye level there is no support at all under my thighs. The front of the seat just drops away as the rear rises. This makes for a very uncomfortable seat. If I had shorter legs I dare say the seat would be closer to the pedals and therefore more comfortable. Many Italian cars (fiats

FIAT STILO Clutch Pedal Losing Pressure

150 Mjet 25600 miles theres no loss of fluid but the pedal keeps losing pressure it will pump up again to be able to change gear but dosent last very long. Not very successful with search any ideas anyone.

It looks very dry inside your gearbox except for the dark band around the inside edge where the flywheel would be. If that dark band is oil then it would have to be coming from the engine rear oil seal to get to that position. . FIAT UNO II They do still exist original Uno turbo

Have you guys seen this. It popped up for sale in NZ. An original 1 owner Uno turbo

gunk has concealed the problem for several years - long enough for me to buy it anyway. I cleaned all the gauges and made a new lens for the clock. I rebuilt all the brakes - replaced everything except the pedal - and then failed the WOF. So far then Ive only driven it a handful of times (and spent about 600) and now cant drive it any more so it is a very bad car. I still remember buying that croma

FIAT STILO Clutch switch

Why is there a switch on the clutch similar to the one on the brake pedal I guess its because the ECU needs to know when the clutch is being pressed but why does it need to know Could a faulty switch one that tells the ECU the clutch is contantly being pressed cause a drop in BHP

Top of the clutch pedal similar position to the brake pedal switch. Item 3 in this diagram. . With both rear wheels off the ground and the handbrake off check that the rear wheels spin freely. Test drive the car enough to get the rear brakes hot then repeat step 4. Handbrake cable adjuster is behind the center armrest. . Attached Thumbnails   __________________ Stilo Parts For Sale Connect Nav Map Discs - Wiper Motor (NEW) croma Turbo i.e. Badges. FIAT DUCATO brake fluid change bleeding sequence

I want to change the brake fluid in my 2009 3 litre comfortmatic Ducato but how do I make sure I dont damage the A.B.S. system and in what sequence do I bleed each wheel I do not intend to use an eezibleed but would get my wife to do the brake pedal pressing under my shouted instructions

fluid is changed regularly then the fluid can absorb moderate amounts of water and still provide corrosion performance. The brake fluid will boil long before corrosion and piston ringingridging becomes and issue. Any ringingridging in a brake pistoncylinder is not acceptable. Also a modern ABS system with traction control ESB hill holder etc. are have inbuilt brake pedal creep. I can get our cromas

FIAT 500 II Is it just me...

...or do others find the steering wheel too far away and the pedals too close on the 500 I am 6 tall my wife is 56 and we both have a problem with it although in all fairness its her car and she loves it so much shes prepared to ignore the fact. Seems like fiats still build cars for people with long arms and short legs BK

If you want to hit your head when getting into a car try the Honda Civic or the new Skoda Rapid ouch Im still smarting. fiats sometimes are a bit odd in the seating position stakes but the upright seating position is far far nicer for me than the lying on your back six inches off the ground with your legs sticking straight out in front position that many makers force you to adopt. See Honda Civic again

FIAT STILO Stilo Abarth 2002 Heater blower fault

Hi guys I have Stilo Abarth 2002 and the heater blower isnt working. When I press the up and down buttons the graphics work but no blower. What stages of diagnostics do I need to go through to narrow down the fault Thanks

Heater fan is inside the heater casing behind the plastic panel to the left of the clutch pedal (for RHD car). Theres along thread about the problem here httpwww.fiatforum.comstilo90245...aulty-fan.html . FIAT BRAVO Bravo going

Well I will soon be saying goodbye to my Bravo. As some of you will be aware I suffered a motorcycle accident several years ago which heavily damaged both legs. The seats in the bravo have been giving me problems in that they are not supporting my legs and as such I have opted for a car (volvo XC70 sshhh) that offers complete leg support and is a little higher to make getting in and out of easier.

Sorry to hear youre needing to leave the fiat fold. If the mk2 new croma was available Im sure you would have been tempted. Bravo looks with genuine big executive car levels of comfort and support from the seats. A real competitor for the Volvo with a similar 5 pot diesel - but more refined and an extra 20hp Bravo seats are quite sport-like with minimum thigh support to avoid impact on the use of the pedals.

wrong is only a minor challenge then go for the 1.6 - a much nicer car to ride in for the same money now as a 1.4 I sold my Tipo (1989 1.6 DGT) in 2001 because it was too boring (there was nothing that needed fixing) too expensive and not fast enough (good handling or not I found it more sluggish than my Uno 60 (0-100kmh in 18 seconds) and couldnt quite get to 160kmh...) I replaced it with a fiat

FIAT BRAVO Spongy brakes

Can someone please reassure me how the brakes are meant to feel on a Bravo MJ 150 Sport. I have just purchased this and feel that the brakes are not responsive or sharp enough given the power of the vehicle. I have to depress my foot on the brake pedal a long way for the brakes to do the required job. I find myself approaching stationery vehicles and having to really press down hard at the last minute

Mine arent throw you through the window when you touch the pedal... like the Mrs croma but they certainly slow it down well enough.
