FIAT BRAVA 182 bravo bumper removal

any help would be apprieciated. i have taken all the main bolts of and the fog connectors too but there appears to be bolts inside the wing too how do u get to these

Yip and spray lots of wd40 cos the nuts that are welded to the wings are very weak and you dont want the welding to break cos its a nightmare to take them off after wards did you do the ones under the bumper as well

FIAT BRAVA 182 Bravo hgt abarth bumper

Hi Folks I bought what I think was a Zender hgt abarth front bumper. I stumbled across a couple of threads on the net and apparently the HGT bumper is a different size to the ssxhlx abarth bumper. My question is this I only have a couple of numbers off the bottom of the bumper but nothing to cross reference it to. Would any1 know given the numbers if my bumper is for the HGT or smaller models. I need

FIAT BRAVO Number plate light failure warning

Hi everyone. A few weeks back I noticed I was getting an intermittent warning light on the dash and a check number plate warning. It came and went but the lights were working fine for the last week the light has stayed and the lights are not working. I took the bulbs out to check and they seem fine no noticeable breaks but still dont work. Unfortunately I dont have spares to try at the moment so dont know if itd help. A bit strange that they both dont work. Has anyone experienced similar

seem to be a fuse that controls it or is there Ive looked through the manual and there is no reference to a fuse for number plate lights. However as they come on with side lights its likely they are on the same fuse. Im sure they must be on a fuse See the attachment for eLearns fault diagnosis. FIAT BRAVO advice and help

my friends bought a second hand bravo and she had a bump on the rear pass corner i took the bumper off to start the work on it which meant taking the rear ns wheel off. the wheel nuts are thread bare and the bolt holes are in a bad way after checking all wheels they are the same only one nut holds the back ns can a new drum simply cure this or would you pursuee this by means of the police as its an unsafe vehicle

FIAT BRAVO Rear Light Removal

Is there a trick for removing the real lights My 150 Multijet Dynamics lights dont want to budge. Ive removed the two bolts and the whole assembly moves slightly sideways freely but I cant get it to slide out as the handbook suggests it should. I understand there are clips inside the housing so I presume theyre holding it but they seem very tight and I can get no movement towards the rear of the car.

Here are the funny clips at the side of the car which hold the bumper corners in place. One the bumper is removed youll be faced with the rear crash member Make sure you remove the under seal around the nuts in the rear wheel arches properly before trying to undo them or youll round the nuts as I did with the last one which resulting the the angle grinder having to make an appearance. Once the crash

FIAT BRAVO Body kit advice needed

Not sure if anyone has already posted about this or not. I want to put a good body kit on my bravo but not sure where to find a decent source. I found this one but am a bit wary as the main pic is photo-shopped and not real. Its the Arjo body kit on the Mad Motors site. Has anyone ever heard of Arjo and are they a legitimate company

i know this is an old thread but thought id just mention that ive ordered an arjo front bumper from madmotors as i think it looks the nuts. it may well be a cheap fibreglass build but the other bodykits are just splittersdiffusers and look naff and are obviously glued on afterwards. cadamura does have a nice. bonnet vent kit but im modding a carbon fibre one from an Evo XI no need for rear bumper though...

yea well they bonded along the top edge and underneath have 2 screw locators on each skirt whick go into plastic inserts along the vehicle sill (new inserts and screws supplied) all a piece of cake even me mum could do it (no offence mum) if i get chance will take pic for you but it wont show much the alloys cost about 420 notes with lockin nuts delivered and corrective bolts for a fiat decided to

FIAT BRAVO Screen Wash Leak from bottle

Hi Ive just noticed that my screen wash is leaking When I try to top it up water leaks down on to the fog light and out on to the lower front bumper. It holds water when the bottle has leaked about half. Ive had a look at trying to get the to the entire screen wash container out but its in a tight area at the side of the battery and behind the headlight. Ive also looked at removing the front fog light

FIAT BRAVA 182 Bravo hgt daily driver

Thought it was about time i posted up some pics of my new daily driver... She nothing special seems a solid car with a huge service history. First thing on the list is a new MAF which should turn up on my door step soon....plus not sure on the cobbled together intake piping so will be replacing that with something suitable. Do need the standard flexi piping from MAF to TB if anyone got one as mine

Got the Magnex fitted yesterday....what a ball ache that was. Studs broke off in the down pipe so had to grind captive nuts off and replace...but at least had the foresight to purchase new hanger rubbers u-bolts and bolts. Seems strange that handbrake cable runs over the middle box but hey ho.....the rear hanger rubber is a nightmareso little space between bumper and hanger to get the rubber on.Ggrrrrrrrrr.

FIAT 500 II 5000 miles in a 1.2 Sport...

So far faultless Our little Red Sport was supplied by Glyn Hopkins in St Albans who despite having a bit of a Barrow Boy rep have served me impeccably so far. I fitted Chrome bumper trims and a Moustache Italian flags on the wings and some other genuine bits from Ebay so she looks the nuts now. Average mpg is 47 in SWMBOs hands but 50 in mine and I drive it briskly but very economically to achieve

FIAT BRAVA 182 Knocking noise...help please

My 1.2 developed a knocking noise yesterday. It se3ems to be coming from front passenger wheel or around the centre of the engine bay. It isnt a load knocking but rather like a pice of thick plastic hitting something. The noise only happens when I take my foot off the accelerator. The noise stays at the same volume but gets faster relative to wheel speed and not engine speed. Ive had a look underneath and cant see anything obvious. Anyone any ideas and prices to fix

Tried tightening the wheel nuts I heard a similar noise when i got my alloys put on. I tightened them up and no more noise 1996 fiat Brava 1.4 SX 15 Fox Racing Evo 6s Debadged Evo Spoiler Blue Varad LED Neons Vinyl Graphix Churchill Nodding Dog..... Ooooh Yes On the way... FIAT BRAVA 182 Slight knocking noise

Hi all just a quick question. I have a bravo 1.4 12v and I have recently noticed a slight ticking more of a knocking noise coming from the front right side of my car. I have brought it to a few garages and they say its nothing serious but they dont know what it is. Its now getting louder and faster. Could it be something loose or a exhaust problem Coz i aint got a clue It would be nice if someone out there could help dag

Try checking the tightness of your wheel nuts. When i had my alloys fitted i heard a slight knockinggrinding noise coming from the front right. I found out that all i needed to do was tighten them all the noises went away 1996 fiat Brava 1.4 SX 15 Fox Racing Evo 6s Debadged Evo Spoiler DTM style front splitter Blades Blue Varad LED Neons Vinyl Graphix Churchill Nodding Dog..... FIAT BRAVA 182 Left side wing damage

I already posted in the bodyshop section but havent received any answer there yet. Thought Id try here as well. Yesterday I managed to slide my car into a lamppost. The left side (Driver side for me as I have a left-hand drive) front wing and bumper have dented and need to be replaced. I cant find any info on how the wing is bolted to the car at windscreendoor side of it. I did find the bolts at the

The wing is held mainly with hex bolts but near the windscreen its held by the bonnet hinges (youll have to remove this by reaching up with a ratchet and undoing the nuts) and its bonded at the bulkhead (hacksaw or piano wire you will need to remove the door to access this). There is also one phillips screw head at the bottom of the wing this might be a curse to take out As for the bumper its bolted
