when I would would have thought they should incorporate some kind of resistance switch for stepped heating (12 & 3 setting) or a very basic onoff switch otherwise these seats will be hot all the time winter (OOOooo nice) and summer Thrisey The switch and onoff LED are on the seats. I am going to move my lights to the dashboard one day. Calcutta Yes that is how I have connected my seats now. The fiat
Hi all I have a
fiat brava 1.2 sx and I have been searching about in the forum and as I understand alfa 156
seats will fit a
fiat Bravo. Will alfa 156 front and back
seats be a direct fit into a
brava or will i have to do any modifying I wanted to fit both the front and rear
seats into my car and they will be leather. Also could anyone suggest any ideas for steats that will fit into a
brava with ease Thankyou so much for your help.
Just looking for some help re the drivers
seat in my 1998
fiat brava. The small handle on the door side of the
seat whicih higherlowers it has somewhat broken and now the
seat slumps to the left. It appears as thought the 2 wheel cogs which higherlower the
seat have disconnected from each other feels as though some bit of metal next to it has snapped as there is a rough feeling on the metal net to
Thanks for the info Jug what i should have asked on the last post as well is does the replacement seat have to come from a brava
Just wondering if anyone knows where to attach the top strap of a child
seat in a
brava. Its not ISOFIX. In my Uno there is a little bracket on the boot floor that you attach the strap to. I cant find anything like that on my
brava.
of the car. Directly behind the middle of the seat there is a ring (looks kind of like a lugage strap clip) its either on the floor (for hatch backs) or the parcel shelf for sedans. My Mum has an SUV and they are on the back of the seats. I think some cars have them on the roof. As i said my Uno has one on the floor next to the spare wheel on the left side of the car and since we get UK spec fiats
We have just purchased a
fiat brava 2001 sx and are having great difficulty finding a group 1 car
seat that fits it is not isofix we think any help would be appreciated........... pls
Certainly no isofix Our Britax seats fit every car weve tried to fit it to.. Only troublesome one was the Tipo whos seats were too bucket style to fit. Small modification to the seatbelt required. Halfords should be able to sort you out a car seat and their prices are about the same as anywhere else.
Ive seen a lovely set of leather 156
seats will they fit a Bravo Im not worried about tilting etc are the dimensions and the rails the same Its for my new project car...
My Mk1 1.4SX had the heated seat plugs hidden under the carptet but the connector block in the fuse box didnt have anything to plug into. I wired it into the sunroof circuit because thats how it is wired from factory. See httpwww.fiatforum.combravo-brava...mk1-model.html

I think the rear bench is the same width though so thats a good start Originally Posted by Adrian Bravo My Mk1 1.4SX had the heated seat plugs hidden under the carptet but the connector block in the fuse box didnt have anything to plug into. Put a deposit down on a R-reg 1.4SX
brava tonight which is for family use. I noticed there was a gap in the middle of the back
seats though and wondered at the time what this was for... Then I found a picture which shows three
seat belt holders together in this gap (See pic). This car is obviously no good to us if what I suspect is true but can you get hold of these catches quite easily (whats the

Is it a difference between Bravos and bravas My brava also has 2 seatbelt holders (to hold the two seatbelt clips on the passenger side presumably the one on the drivers side is meant to hold itself (which usually fall under the rear seat anyway)) in the rear seat. Something to do with the fact that one was designed as a family car and the other for people who only occasionally need to use rear seats Anyway its a 1.4 thats reason enough not to buy it.......
a friend of mine has just got a bravo sx (1996)and does not have a manual can anyone tell me how the rear
seats fold down thanks in advance.

seat (Age 9months to 4years). Has anyone got any recommendations
uncomfortable and if your child is a little taller than the average child they last till about 3 years of age not 4. We have 2 of those seats albeit in a different colour. We have 2 as once its in the car its in. Its a big seat as Panda_gal says and makes the middle back seat pretty uncomfortable for adult passengers. It fits fine in both the Marea and Bravos back and front seats. Its been in a brava
brava 1.6SX N reg I bumped the small box under the passenger
seat when vacuuming and the car would not start. Eventually AA guy came and even he had difficulty until he noticed that the car was clean and it immediately dawned on him what the problem was. There is rubber like membrane on top (not exactly a button) which he pressed and the car started. Seemingly this is a common problem with the

never go to halfords. youll pay twice as much. an N reg brava is not the second stage brava it is an early mk1 since the brava was released on an N reg. there are plenty of seats that will fit all you need is the correct subframe. if you fancy cheap ones i understand makro do a good deal.
Hi all. I just got myself a 2001 (51 plate)
brava ELX but it needs a few things to make it perfect again. So if there is any one out there selling an Off side front heated
seat (blue) and off side electric heated wing mirror PLEASE reply.
Are they a straight swap as i think i may be able to get hold of some punto turbo
seats just wonderin if they will need any adjustments thanks in advance
they dont even come close which is a real shame coz the interior in bravos is crappy even hgt seats are a bit bog standard looking. i love my bravo but the interior is just awful. oh and mk2 punto seats dont fit either. brava and marea seats can fit but they are even worse than the bravo ones. best bet is to get some cheap bucket seats and then retrim the rear to match. i was thinking about trying
will the leather
seats out of a 155hgt fit in a 97 147hgt oh and the door cards aswell
I think they do mate..... The seats should definately fit as fiat havent changed the fixings for the seats through their range of bravos according to the local fiat dealer... I looked into the possiblilty of some new front seats and was told that there are 2 models heated or non-heated but they use the same fittings to bolt to the floor.... Not sure about the door cards though... I would presume that they fit... fiat wouldnt re-design a whole door and trim....would they......
Hi The person who had my
brava N reg told me that when it had a small problem fixed the people who fixed it pulled the connector for the
seat belt light off and did not fix it back so my light stays on even when I have the
seat belts in. anybody know where the connector is located because I can not find it. He was told it was under the
seats but I can find no wires there. Pls help... thanks
Hello there and happy new year to all members Id like to build in
seat heaters in my 99
brava 1.4SX car. Which electric point is best for connecting the heater element The car has no standard
seat heater plug under the steering wheel. The heater element has no controls does not switch off automatically and has a cigarette lighter plug for now (with 5A fuse). With the help of the delayed switch off
I have just purchased a 1.8 ELX and have a query re heated
seats on a 1.8 elx. They only seem to come on if the car is cold (ie overnight) but not at any other time is there a thermostat that regulates whether they are able to be operated The Aircon doesnt seem to blow out any colder air than the normal air coming in is this an easy problm to solve[]
the refrigerant in the aircon might need charging sounds like a thermostat with the seats but would be unusual for them both not to work. are they turned up Met Cognac 99 brava 100 HSX
on. sounds like an interior fault to me im gna have to find out how to replace it i might just buy a whole new HGT chair lol du think thats a good idea Its more than likely the heating element has fractured causing no current to pass no heat. There is no option but to replace the seat with another HGT seat with working heating elements or replace the heating elements. I think its &163300 at fiat

Hi to all... I have problem with
seat pressure sensor in my
brava 99 1.6 16V. It have 4 airbags. Two time i removed fault code and technician told me that

seat not empty) like someone do with airbags Is there any scheme for that how to fix it because new sensor is very expensive Thank you

Hi all hope someone can help The lever on the side of my driver
seat no longer seems to do anything. It wont move and forcing it does nothing. Does anyone know how to fix it I
i had a similiar thing happen on mine it seemd to do nothing. In the end i gave up and used all the force i could - which successfully lowered the seat. I think the seat adjuster is a design problem on bravas
Guys any ideas. The
seat belt on passenger side of my
fiat Bravo is soaking wet.
seat floor everything else is dry. Any ideas where water could get in here as looks like its sealed ffrom rear window
I had this problem with my brava. The seatbelt was soaking and there was no sign of water anywhere else. I couldnt find a leak or anything. I traced it to the sunroof drainage holes which were blocked. The water was sloshing about and trickling down the back of the seat belt. Unblock the drainage holes. Obviously if you dont have a sunroof then its not that and Im talking crap again...
I have seen these cobra rails for a Bravo

I presume my car has heated
seats (97 bravo HGT) where is the switchI
its under the seat theres a little LED on the side of the seat too Met Cognac 99 brava 100 HSX wish itd clean itself
as title explains really the handle on the passenger
seat to let a passenger in the back of the car has desided not to work today (the
seat slides and locks into place as normal so there are no other problems) now i have used the search button and found guides as to stripping the
seat down after taking it out but it seams a little extreme for such a trivial thing what should i look at first is there anything i can do from the back
seat im sure this is quite a common problem thanks

Hi guys was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the
seat covers front and back as went fishing in mine and they are really stained now so need a good wash. Ive tried scrubbing but still stained. I know i could get covers but i dont like them as they dont look any good.
Have a read of my Heated seat Guide on fiatboo modification section thatll show you how to do the front seats. If The Sultan sees this hell help with the other seats as I remember he fully removed his seat covers front and rear and had them washed.
