housing. I aligned the center mark withe the one on the housing. after aligning the marks i put the timing belt on adjusted the belt tensioner and then i turned the crank shaft 2 times (with the spark plugs out) As i got closer to the marks i moved the crank shaft slower and stopped exactly on the marks. you need to buy the tool i wouldnt attempt it without it. not sure what an offical timing tool kit is but if the tool came with that then itd sat. to time it i would jack car up remove drivers side wheel. take the spark plugs out remove cam lock hole cover turn engine till tool can be inserted to lock cam put car in gear. jam the brakes on with a large stick wedged from pedal to seat (to lock the bottom
Is not an MOT failure. Remember though that the light is telling you that the airbagseat belt pre tensioner systems are NOT working and will NOT work in an impact. lights come on for various reasons. Most common is a seatbelt pretensioner wire has been disturbed. This illuminates the light. Another possibility is that the clock spring between the steering wheel and console is at fault.. There are ways you can reset the system disconnecting the battery etc. Im sure someone will post a solution

sounds like the seat belt pre tensioner has gone off in the accident if it dont retract it will fail mot the horn has probly just become disconnected.
