FIAT 500 II fiat 500 airbag ecu module problems

hi there i have a fiat 500 1.4 sport the airbag and seat belt lights are on and when i start the car i get a message on the dash for a few seconds saying fuel cut off unavailible can this be repared.

I also have the same problem with u. Yesterday when i started my car (Abarth 500) i got a message on the dash saying fuel cut off unavailable&8221. Also the 2 airbag (the red one-drivers airbag and the yellow one-passenger airbag) and seat belt light were on. I went immediately to the nearest fiat dealer to connect my abarth to the computer to show me what&8217s going wrong. Unfortunately the computer

Finally the problem is from the airbag electrical control unit. It costs 350 euros. The fiat mechanic told me that the jumber 100% didnt cause any problem to the control unit it just spoiled.

FIAT 500 II New Abarth ECUs knocking around for sale

There are a few Abarth 500 ecus knocking around on the second hand market due to people buying an EsseEsse kit when the car is new. They seem to be in proper fiat boxes and people say they are brand new. What is the situation here. Are they really unused Have they never been plugged into the car and therefore coded to the body computerkey. Are they virgin or not

They all have the same features and pinouts on all the diagrams I have.

FIAT 500 II Supersprint vs. Novitec vs. Magneti marelli Axle back units

Hi all Ive been trying to decide on changing the exhaust system or perhaps just the rear muffler. I have three options 1. Supersprint which is available in my country 2. Novitec which are well known in the ferrari industry 3. Magneti Marelli which i have to order too. I have a 1.4 500 V16 100hp 10 i will not be removing the centre muffler atleast for the time being. just the axle back unit. Main reason

more authentic add on if you like the sound of it. You could try contacting Novitec directly for a video clip of their exhaust. Youtube has one for a Bravo but cant be sure if its for the NA 1.4. lool i just found the same website u referred me to. Prices do look good though. Just picked up my Lounge TA. At a test drive of a TA Lounge when I asked about the sat nav fitting socket on dashboard I was told they were now coming in 2012 as standard and not optional extra. FIAT 500 II How reliable is your 500

A very subjective thread but I was wondering how reliable people consider their cars to be. We had someone this morning with what most would consider rather minor issues who thought their car was the worst thing in the world and their opinions regarding what are relatively minor issues seem to be far from typical. My car has never failed to start other than twice when Ive flattened the battery of course.....

FIAT 500 II What the Americans are doing to modding the 500

Came across a facebook entry on mods to the new MA 500 Sport - not just wheels (17s) but brakes CAI etc. They can be found on Facebook by searching for fiat Tuning . You cannot purchase from them - too many complications with importing from the states. Whats surprising

Its a different car but I do know of someone who owns a Suzuki Ignis Sport who had his car remapped by a very large and well know remapping company and got a nice rolling road print out to show how much better than car now was. By a strange turn of events he ended up getting an apprenticeship at another car tuning company about 6 months later a stand alone company who have gained a good name for there

this is probably in the back of the mind of anyone with a remappedtuned engine if they are still in the 3 year period. Was driving along today and as the mileometer passed 750 miles the mileometer started flashing. Stopping the car and restarting later and everything returned to normal. Maybe it was telling me that it is run-in properly now

there were ecu reprograms to sort this on the gp so i would expect there will be similar things for the 500 but untill fiat make these available then a proxy alignment is all your dealer can do in most cases this will sort it out the dash flashes the miles and clock to warn that the proxy alignment needs set its all to do with the synchrony of the clocks in the dash body computer and convergence unit

the CAN network has been disrupted or if another ecu in the system is having a CAN issue which would cause the mileage to flash.
