JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 93 zj help coolant in oil pan

Hello all I am going to try to keep this short. Bought used jeep ran great for a month. The gas gauge does not work so drove 250 and filled up each time. Went 300 miles and almost ran out out. Put 24.5 gallons in the 23 gallon tank. I guess i sucked up all the crap in the tank (jeep sat for 2 years before purchased) now it wont idle or run without foot on gas. Shakes violently (piston). Change oil

there should be plenty of 5.2s in california. you can use one from a 93-01 ram durango dakota or jeep. if its from a dodge you will need to swap the intake and all the sensors as well as use the flexplate from your jeep

JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Engine rebuild

So I purchased a 93 ZJ V8 Limited back in November with 280000 miles. It now has 289990 miles and is burning a quart of oil every 1000 miles. Havent really had any issues with the engine transmission is super strong and smooth. Im thinking now that shes not my DD anymore I should start doing some restorative work to her. I want to get her to better than factory condition. Cosmetically shes beautiful

The reality of it is that there is no challenge in dropping 1500 very quickly for an overhaul without having to replace the cam and lifters. The good news is the Magnum 5.2 and 5.9 engines were used in dodge full sized trucks and vans Dakotas and durangos as well as Jeep ZJs. They are common as used items and with some careful shopping a lower mile motor can be bought cheap especially if the seller

JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 5.9 questions

Looking to pickup a 9er. What should I be looking for as far as problems. I know my way around the 4.0s but not the 5.9.... What issues should I look for Water pumps seem to be common and most have 180-250k miles. Are the 5.9s as reliable as the 4.0

big leaks of any kind. Some ones probly going to get mad at me but....The v8s are way more relible than the I6. They can take miles some 300k to 400k. Not to diss the I6 its a bad little motor. But if your rough on the I6 you end in with rods out the side wall or oil pan. I have killed alot of the I6s mudding. Never had a 5.2 or 5.9 blow on me yet. As for the 46rh I wouldnt even worry about it. dodge

BMW SERIES 3 E46 Help Got a lemon

HELP I need some advise. In June I bought a used 2003 330I with 68k miles as is I took it for the 60K service to a shop that specializes in BMW Mercedes etc. and had to have power steering and brake fluids flushed as well as a new idler pulley and belt along with the usual 60k stuff. 1 week later the power steering pump failed and I had to have it towed to the shop to be replaces. 3 days later the

him he needed some new coil (not exactly sure about the name of the part). So 800 later he had his new coil. 1 week later light back on... Back to the shop and this time the owner uses his 10000 scanner instead of his 5000 scanner. This one says he needs a new thermostat. 900 later we are off and running. So you will all forgive me if I am not so thrilled with the realibility of BMW. I drove a dodge

KIA SORENTO I JC 03 Sorento AWD

Howdy folks My wife drives an 03 Sorento AWD LX and it is acting very strange. When you turn sharp at parking lot speeds as if pulling into a parking spot the car grinds to a complete stop... Infact if I am turning a corner at low speeds I actually have to give it gas so it wont come to a complete stop. Its painful to make those turns because I am afraid Im doing more damage by doing it. I thought

are as well. The Honda PassportAcura SLX were never. As they were made by ISUZU and a rebadged RodeoTrooper. Range Rover is god knows what and frankly for 70K who cares here. So it is really very simple you fit into one of teh three to date axioums and that is what you have. Forget what it tells you on the back this is what you have. PART-TIME 4X4 FULL-TIME 4X4 AWD The only noteable exception is dodge

KIA SPORTAGE I K00 1996 model having electric trans issues. Need diagrams

Hey everyone. I have a 1996 model sportage (ex I think) that runs great except it wont shift into overdrive. It has runs plenty strong and has a new exhaust on it. Ive checked the codes and nothing comes up. Trans runs great and doesnt make any weird noises or vibrations fluid is clean just no OD. I know from other posts that they dont shift until they hit 150 degrees or so -- mine doesnt shift to

transfer case Theyre pointing into each other near the top. The upper sensor in 1112111430a.jpg and 1112111431a.jpg is one of them. The other is in 1112111431.jpg. They each are fed by two green wires. The pair green wires on each sensor goes to a connector one of which leads to yellow and black wires the other to red and black wires. Id really really appreciate any help on this. I drive a 2003 dodge

Hello all. This is only my second post on here so have mercy on me lol. I got myself a 2002 E320 back in March and until now Ive had almost no issues. A few days ago while I was on my way to work I went to pull out onto a road from my development.

is the MAF sensor Maybe a cleaning would solve some of your issues and it costs only about 9 How bad the vacuum lines looking A visual check would save you some time and money. Do a good cleaning around the head ( I dont like the idea washing an engine) with a damp cloth using some degreaser maybe and clean block would help you to determine where the oil is seeping from. A coworker bought a 2000 dodge
