KIA SORENTO I JC Oil Pan Drain Plug Crush Washer for 2003

When I bought my 03 there was no crush washer on the oil pan drain plug. The drain plug never leaked so I never installed one. I changed the oil on her a couple weeks ago and now there is a small amount of oil dripping from the plug. I checked the torque on the plug yesterday and it was 28 ft-lbs so I torqued it to 30 ft-lbs since the manual states between 26 and 33. I like to keep it on the low end

I buy in bulk off internet at each time. Just paid 5.75ea for 10 shipped. And I got a bag of OEM gaskets sitting in cabinet if need be. JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 93 zj help coolant in oil pan

Hello all I am going to try to keep this short. Bought used jeep ran great for a month. The gas gauge does not work so drove 250 and filled up each time. Went 300 miles and almost ran out out. Put 24.5 gallons in the 23 gallon tank. I guess i sucked up all the crap in the tank (jeep sat for 2 years before purchased) now it wont idle or run without foot on gas. Shakes violently (piston). Change oil

PONTIAC G6 I have 1500 miles on my 09 should I get the oil changed now

Should I get my first oil change now or wait till........

for 8-10K changes Id buy it as there would be a lot less possibility of sludge formation in the engine. I have three vehicles and two (durango RT 06 Pontiac G6 GT) are running Amsoil 0W30 25K mile rated oil. My 99 Taurus doesnt see as many miles so I run Amsoil 5W20 Xl (7500 mile change interval). All Amsoil filters are good for up to 25K or one year. Yes I properly flushed my engines and on my dodge

PONTIAC G6 Oil change questions

Does anyone have issues with using a hand pump oil extractor ( httpwww.autosportcatalog.comindex.cfmfap&pid4860 ) instead of draining directly from the pan Is there an oil oil filter that is best for G6 3.5L engine Any other tips tricks associated with this car for this simple task

is one of the easiest vehicles to change the oil on Its straight forward. All you need is a good grip to get the old filter off (a filter wrench may be necessary) and a 13mm wrench or ratchet socket to get the oil plug out. For about 85 CAN I built my own ramps. JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Engine rebuild

So I purchased a 93 ZJ V8 Limited back in November with 280000 miles. It now has 289990 miles and is burning a quart of oil every 1000 miles. Havent really had any issues with the engine transmission is super strong and smooth. Im thinking now that shes not my DD anymore I should start doing some restorative work to her. I want to get her to better than factory condition. Cosmetically shes beautiful

The reality of it is that there is no challenge in dropping 1500 very quickly for an overhaul without having to replace the cam and lifters. The good news is the Magnum 5.2 and 5.9 engines were used in dodge full sized trucks and vans Dakotas and durangos as well as Jeep ZJs. They are common as used items and with some careful shopping a lower mile motor can be bought cheap especially if the seller

JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 5.9 questions

Looking to pickup a 9er. What should I be looking for as far as problems. I know my way around the 4.0s but not the 5.9.... What issues should I look for Water pumps seem to be common and most have 180-250k miles. Are the 5.9s as reliable as the 4.0

big leaks of any kind. Some ones probly going to get mad at me but....The v8s are way more relible than the I6. They can take miles some 300k to 400k. Not to diss the I6 its a bad little motor. But if your rough on the I6 you end in with rods out the side wall or oil pan. I have killed alot of the I6s mudding. Never had a 5.2 or 5.9 blow on me yet. As for the 46rh I wouldnt even worry about it. dodge

JEEP CHEROKEE 150 slow 2 door build.

Ok so the story starts a little over a year ago. A good friend of mine traded his Yamaha scooter for a full sized chebby blazer something about tired of being almost run over because people dont pay attention. We went with him a couple times at a small offroad park mainly designed for quads and atvs but had a pretty good time. So natural progression was to find my own small 4x4 something to go and

Butt I know almost nothing and I havent gotten a lot of good answers so far and am not finding the info

like the Currie Antirock. Steering If you push your jeep there is no doubt you will end up with damage to your tie rod. Heavy duty tie rods can be had for under 100 and most work with stock tie rod ends(TRE). More extensive steering systems such a Curries complete steering system are a little more expensive but also replaces the drag link as well as the tire rod and includes stronger 78 TREs. dodge
