Try this 1. Ignition in the off position. 2. Push and hold the trip reset button while turning the key to position 1 or Accessory. 3. Continue pushing the button for 5 additional seconds until the display changes and inspection or oil service appears . 4. Push the button again for approx 5 seconds until Reset or RE appears in the display and is flashing. 5. When the display starts to flash press
Will this work on a 97 Z3
Will this procedure also work on a 2006 Z4 M Roadster
Here you go.
Look in your Owners Manual. There is a graphic thgat shows the location of all dashboard indicator lights. I dont think that there is an indicator light for cruise though.
George yeah I looked in the manual and saw nothing about an indicator. I just thought I remembered seeing one
There is no light indicator. When CC is set there is a little floating indicator that appear directly behind the MPH indicator that you are currently traveling. It is hard to describe.
There is no cruise control indicator on the 2007 Z4. No light or floating indicator (as on the newer models). Theres no way to look at the cluster and tell that the cruise is on other than the fact that your speed is staying the same.
Usually not a big deal just requiring resetting the system. This assumes that youve already checked the air pressure with a gauge for each tire. In the fallwinter when ambient temperatures drop its not uncommon for your a tires pressure to go lower (moisture in the air inside a tire expands and contracts with the temperature swings). Not sure if the Z4 system relies on the wheel speed sensors or transmitters
Early Z4s relied on the traction control system to monitor the tire pressure. 2006ish they switched to sensors in the wheel. But if youve checked the tires and there fine the next time you drive off press the button to reset the flat tire indicator.

I have a 05 Z4 3.0i and was driving home in the snow. The conditions were fine when I left from home. But on the way home as the rear wheels would start to slip the traction control would kick in as expected. However just before I got home it really started to slip and the dsc light brake abs and tire pressures lights all came on and stayed yellow. Even when the car was home and turned off I turned
It has been colder than that here over the last few weeks and I certainly have not experienced this. I dont suppose youve ahem tested the ABS or DSC when youve gotten those indicators

Car stopped okay but of course rolling at 2 mph is not going to

Just to make sure I understand so you drove the entire way to your destination with the indicator

you know i had something similar to this happen on a 2003 bmw Z4. I was putting the top up and my finger slipped off the button about 23 the way up because i was trying to multitask. I tried to put the top back up and the red indicator just flashed. from the top down to 12 way up it works. and vice versa...back down from half way no problem. Once i get it past that half way point nothing happens. The

Also I am getting the service engine oil light sporadically. Ill be taking
