succsess there are two secret adaption channels that i found using a hex editor. normal lemiwinksunisettings show 14 as does vag com. but long story short there are two more. i reset them to 0000 and though my boost did not drop to factory settings only went down a few psi which i induce is from the apr chip but my rev limiter went back to stock and my cmd boost went almost back to stock. all this

Ive recently had my 2001 audi TT 180Q chipped. It seems to be a 2001 car with a 2000 motor because my engine code is ATC. I had the car chipped by a local GIACunitronic retailer with GIAC software via the OBD2 port. I know from your TT 1.8T FAQ page that the ATC engine supposedly has the smaller ecu and that means chips are usually soldered on. 1st question - can the ATC ecu be flash-loaded with new

Ive got an 01 180 Quattro. I know the K03s begins to lose pressure efficiency at higher RPMs (if thats what youd call it). With the AWD five-speed what would be the optimum shifting points stupid simple and just keep it between 2000 RPM (at peak torque) and 5500 RPM (when it makes peak power - or does it hold 180 horsepower past 5500 before dropping off)

Mines got 74K miles now and after checking around some apparently thats not a lot at all - stock and for up-ing the boost some. GIAC raises it to what - 19 or 20 lbs I think the guy that retails unitronic by me said that can do 22 lbs. AUDI TT 8N Can I slow my tt for my son

Hi I am giving my tt to my son but I worry the car is to fast for him. I want to limit the speed to 75mph. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do that.

audi TTs in the US already have an electronically limited top speed. People who want to get rid of this usually go to a tuner to reprogram the ecu (engine control unit.) Im sure you could also have it reprogrammed to a lower maximum speed.

get boost gauge thats the first thing before you do any performance modsnext i would suggest a MBC (manual boost control) voodoo would be the cheapest one thats still good quality thats what i run on my 01 TT225 look up the diod mod in the diy section its a cheap mod you could get a ecu flash from APR or GIACunitronic.thats a good start

I just got an awe exhaust chip injectors dv and carbonio intake. The chip n dv were done on june 6. I just got the injectors n chip upgrade on aug 15 then i put the exhaust and intake on on the 17th. Before the upgrades i used to get 400 miles (give or take my driving) on a tank. i just filled my tank n im at 12 tank and 150 miles so im only going to get 300. is this normal any help will be appreciated.

Im not sure exactly someone else here can probably tell you. One thing I can tell you is your turbo will not be very happy lol. There is no saying when the stock ones will fail with a chip but they usually do with a chip so its just recommend to do it at the same time. The plastic stock ones usually cant take the extra boost and end up cracking. You can upgrade to a Bosch 710N DV alss know as an audi
