AUDI A5 8T 8F S5 wheel vibrations

I dont know if anyone else if having this problem but I have been suffering from horrible wheel vibrations in my 09 s5. The dealer keeps telling me its my wheels are out of balance. But as I have put my winter wheels on balanced and all I still have the same effects... Is it the dynamic system

Just got back from the dealer again dealing with the shimmyvibration in the front end coming thru the steering at high speed (relatively speaking). The dealers next step was to conduct a Road Force Balance of the wheelstires. I suppose that is different than a regular balance. They found that 2 of the 4 tires (Pirelli P-Zero Rosso) were out of tolerance and have ordered 2 new tires. Both tires were

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 BMW 335ix Coupe vs. Audi A5

Since BMW North America has decided that I cant buy the Sport seats and a heated steering wheel together (the Sport Package is going away the only way to get Sport seats is to buy the M Sport Package and that precludes the heated steering wheel) Ive decided to look at other options. One that caught my eye is the audi A5. Has anyone here looked at it given it a test drive How does it compare--both pluses and minuses--to the BMW 335ix Coupe

When I was shopping for a car last year I tested out A4 S4 and S5. I didnt test out A5 but Ill share my impression New audi cars have needlessly complicated electronics. And I love tech toys in cars... The nav system is not as intuitive as BMWs. Too many buttons are required to navigate through the screen. And fan speed and seat heaters have to be adjusted using nav screen. For example when you turn

What - no rebadged VW jokes You guys are losing your edge. The video with the S5 vs 335i coupe was cool but irrelevant if your shopping for new cars as they no longer make the V8 S5 as shown in the video. I have an RS4 that has that same 4.2 V8 but with 70 more hp. The sound is to die for. A friend of my has a V8 S5 with an AWE exhaust on it and its a head turner. The audi does feel heavier than my

Hi Everybody just another day with an audi a problem. I have a medium noise coming from the steering wheel when the car is warmed up and the RPM is between 1200-1800. No Foam is present in the steering Fluid but when you look at the fluid it moves and looks under a lot of pressure. Last time I changed the fluid was a 1-12 year ago. The problem is only persistent when you are at a stand point (car is not moving).

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 BMW 335i coupe or Audi A5

I currently drive an 04 BMW 330ci but I am itching to upgrade this machine I am interested in the BMW 335i coupe or the audi A5. I have test driven both vehicles and I am torn between the two. (I also test drove the Infiniti G37 but I have to stick with the Germans ) BMW wins on straight performance. The power of the twin turbos is no match to the audis V-6. However the interior of the audi is impressive.

Does anyone know why you cannot order and A5 Cabriolet or an S5 Cabriolet with a manual transmission while you can order a A5 or an S5 coupe with one Does this make any sense to anyone out there audi Cmon man

They probably do it to keep costs down. Does the Cabriolet have more than 6 speeds I dont think they make a 7 or 8 speed manual shifter. Take the Tiptronic it has some of the glory of a manual shifter. The 2.0 L Turbo is well paired for a Tiptronic with 8 speeds but overpriced. Hell Chrysler and Subaru give it to you for cheap. I drove a Q5 with this pairing and it was an eye-opener. I did think it

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 What about the 3series coupe vs. Audi A5 Comments

I have seen the A5 Coupe. I am set to trade my 5 series next year and just can afford a newer 5series with the mileage and options I want. However I was contemplating a 3series coupe. What do you guys think

Wow interesting thoughts in here. I kind of like the layout of the 3 series interior. Nice uniform amber lights which are easy to see sensible buttons. Get in a rice rocket (or any Asian car for that matter) and the dash and dials glow all kinds of funky colors that is annoying IMO. The colors may be appealing but detract from driving especially at night. What features do people want inside the car.

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 Anyone wish they had (or considering) an A5

Just wondering...it seems that the 328i especially is VERY low hpcar for the money and getting lamer and lamer with bmw taking nice amenities off that were once standard...Not to mention they have become SO common suddenly... Any of you looking at new or used A5 as an alternative yeah I know - the 328i still handles better - but what about you guys for whom handling is NOT the top priority (I am addressing the current or potential 328i crowd here not the 335i owners)

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 2009 A4A5 vs. e90e92 328335i -- looks good.

Looks like audi has gone the right way and finally placed the engine and trans. further behind the front axle one of the reasons many bmw owners did not consider audi. Its now official the A4S4 will be on the same platform as the A5S5 and it looks good and will be good competition for BMW. Also the quattro is now 6040 split similar to BMWs which will make the drive more rear wheel based much more enjoyable

AUDI Q5 8R Audi SQ5 PCP and Audi Complete

Hi Guys New to the forum and I am looking at ordering the SQ5. Have been offered a PCP deal of &163612pm for 48 months and 22k miles per year with a 2k deposit. No options so far as I am testing the water but got about 5k in options I would like to add. For full maintenance with tyres its &163160pm extra. From peoples experience does this sound like a good deal and is the maintenance worth it Has anyone

Jos on 03 March 2014 - 1001 PM said In terms of options absolute musts are Tech Pack High (expensive but contains A LOT of required things - NO ONE has an SQ5 on here without it). Hill Hold Assist (only 65 and makes it much nicer to drive in stopstart traffic) audi Drive Select (actually lets you change the exhaust note onoff all the time otherwise you only get it when the gearbox is in S - dont confuse

1018 PM said Tech pack hi and ADS are both on my list. I am not bothered about hill hold though as I had it on the A5 and rarely used it tended to use the e brake when I needed to. I was thinking of parking system advanced but from what I see you get parking system plus anyway so not sure its worth 340 extra just for rear view camera. AUDI A7 4G A7 Sport package

Need your advice. Im this close to getting an A7 and inclined to get the sport package (19 probably but open to 20) in part because I like and use the sport steering wheel and paddles. I am also considering the Stasis tuning package through the dealer -- what can I say Im gonna miss my A5 The reviews suggest that the suspension can be rough especially in the 20 tires. Anyone have experience with it

Anyone have experience with it in any size tires For comparison my A5 has the adjustable suspension version of drive select and I find the stiffest suspension setting a touch jarring in that vehicle for everyday driving. By the way anyone agree with the reviews that the A7 steering lacks feel Thanks all I have an 2012 A7 Prestige with the 19 Sport option. I prefer the looks of the 19 wheels. Also have a 2010 S5 convertible with 19. The A7 suspension (in auto) is very accommodating not nearly as stiff as the S5. The A7 steering is much lighter than the S5 but I do not find it objectionable. I am very very impressed with the A7 which is my 3rd audi. BS 2010 S5 Cab 2012 A7 Prestige

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 Ok.. Audi S5 or 335i

Greetings to all Just wanted to tickel your day with the following thought Which is the better car In terms of performance design price and quality which car do you think is realistically more appealing leaving behind your natural bias The new audi s5 to me seems like a go between the 335i and the m3. Looking at some pictures it is absolutly beautiful. With a 4.2l V8 pushing 354hp and 315ftlbs of torque

The audi is a beautiful car no doubt but there are some points to be made. Its also direct injected meaning it has high and low pressure fuel pumps just like the 335i. Dont be suprised if there are maintenance or warranty repairs there. These pumps are pushing pressures that are way higher than conventional fuel pumps(up to 1600psi) The 4.2 isnt a very efficient engine in comparison. I drove an A8

AUDI A4 B8 2009 A4 front seats

Some 09 A4s have awsome front seats with what appears to be an adjustable thigh support and some have boring circular patterned front seats with no seperate thigh support. At first I thought this was a difference between the sport package and non and then I thought it was the difference between the Prestige model and the rest. But so far all I can tell is the European seat in any trim is more sporty

BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 Power steering

Does anyone thing the steering in our cars feels sorta heavy especially at low speeds I maybe its more of a ratio thing. I test drove an audi A5 before deciding on another BMW and the difference in the steering was nice and day. The audi steering wheel turned effortlessly where as ours takes more effort and seems to be heavier to turn. BMW SERIES 5 F10 F11 550Xi M sport Vs. New Audi A7

I just purchased a Carbon Black 550Xi with M Sport. Today I saw the brand new audi A7. Parking next to it makes mine looks a little bland. What do you think I know the powerplant inside is superior than audis but the look of audi is so exciting compare with mine.

i have seen must be the s package. kudos go to the wheels and the fin on the back but it does look a tad... i dont know. slapdash. The S-line looks disjointed to me also. I suspect that the heavy RF tires may have occassional challenges for meeting low 1st radial harmonic levels due to their construction. brethren but that platform leaves much to be desired in the handling area. Its a large and sturdy car built on the c class platform - way too small. The C coupe is also quite poor in the handling department and with the 250 engine regrettably anemic. BMW SERIES 3 E90 E91 E92 E93 Most non-BMW owners agree the E92 exterior is beautiful. However...

... most of those also coincide in saying the interior is boring cold uninviting or downright ugly which matches some of the reviews I have read. What do you guys HONESTLY think about this Try to be as impartial as you can although I am aware theres only so much impartiality I can get in a BMW board. Keep in mind this is more of a visual layoutdesign point than a build qualityergonomics one.

else you have said even if it wasnt. As a matter of fact just like you if I had to choose between a 335 coupe and a loaded A4 3.2 Id definitely go for the BMW. I cant say the same about the sedan but thats just because its not only the interior of this car I dont like but the looks of the car altogether. Then again the 335 coupe should not be compared to the A4 sedan but the upcoming S5. audi
