Im on the market for an audi
& Im wondering what kind of cars they are Are they considered top of the line up there with Mercedes & BMW Lexus Are they well built quality cars with little problems & maintenance issues Also how much can the A5 be had for along with the S line all in 2 door
My A5 has now been at the dealership for 23 days. The dealership does not know how to fix the clutch neither does audi. Here are all the problems I have had -StickySqueaky clutch (no fix yet) -Clutch pedal clicks annoyingly on operation (no fix yet) -Accelerator pedal clunk on drive off (they say its normal) -Sunroof Trim Piece fell off causing sunroof to bind -Vibration from open Sun Shade on passenger
I just joined the audi
family and i can say i have never been as happy with a car in my life... I got a A5 2010 premium plus used with 20k miles and it is just beautiful The question i have is that the only thing i want to make the car complete is the backup camera.... I have been doing some research on here and other sites and people seem to think it is near impossible because i dont even have the
Hey all newbie here. I just got a 09 A5 V6 auto with nav but no rear view camera. Does anyone know if all the wiring harnesses are there Could it be as easy as just installing the rear camera thingie Thx BT
Not sure but my 2011 with Nav came with the backup camera (and proximity sensors) as part of the package so presumably the wiring (fiber optic I believe) was later added. You would also need whatever switches the Nav display to camera view when you shift into reverse as well. My wifes 2007 Lexus is250 has Nav with backup camera so unknown what took audi so long. -BT-
Hi Ive had the new A4 B8 for 2 months with the Advanced Key feature and over the past week Ive noticed that the drivers door sensor (on the outerside of the handle) used for locking the car has gotten less sensitive and not been working first time everytime (as it used to). If I move to the rear door and use that sensor it locks straight away. Please note however that this problem is intermittent Now
New here but found this thread. I have a 2007 A5 3.0Tdi with the same problem. It was like this when bought the car (Private sale). It has never worked for me although the car will open remotely It also recognises the key inside so you can start with STARTSTOP button. I presume all these work the same way whether its a3 a4 a5 etc. Got codes read and got these. 03286 Sensor for contact with door handle

I have ordered in my car the HK logic 7 sound system(1180EUR) I use the recommended settings found here posted by a specialist.althougt it made a difference I am not quite satisfied with it.I am wondering If the system is better or worse than the Bang & Olufsen from audi
A5 the cheaper model from B&o (900eur) without moving speakers like A8.can anyone test and post over here any opinion will help.thanks
As a reformed audi owner I can tell you that my 2002 A4 1.8 T was every bit a rebadged prettied-up VW Passat. A co-worker had a Passat (a year newer) and we both had many of the same defects on our cars. I was originally attracted to audi because the car had upscale-yet-youthful appeal and they were less numerous on the roads than BMWs. A mechanic friend cautioned me against buying an audi ticking
So Im reading through the Owners Guide and come across this What strikes me is that this is almost identical to the way the TPM works in my Pontiac Vibe. The Vibe has no wheel pressure sensors
and relies on the ABS system to detect a wheel spinning at a slightly different RPM compared to the others as a result of its diameter changing due to under inflation. The reason for the 10 minute drive after

I know I paid for TPMS sensors when I had my tires replaced but it sure sounds like mine uses the ABS system ()
Hello all Just thought I would say hello. Have bought a a second hand Q5 today (couldnt afford a new one with the extras&33) - but only 8 months old. I settled for the 3.0TDi S Line Special Edition in Ibis White (with Black styling pack) Ive had an S5 for over 3 years and we have recently had a baby girl - so as much as I loved the S5 it wasnt proving that practical with car seats etc. My daughter
I am very near to signing on the dotted line for a new Q5 but there is one point I have yet to work out..... Will it fit in my single garage. I have done all the measurements and compared to my A3 Sportback and its 5 12 wider and 13 longer and although the length is not a problem its the width and being able to get out of the car that could be the issue. I know I am going to have to fold in the mirrors
factor It depends on which garage door you have but if you have an up and over door the mechanics of it all will not allow you to get a Q5 underneath it - even an electric folding door takes about 2ft from the top of the door for the mechanics. I never considered parking the Q5 in the garage but from looking at it parked next to the open garage door there is no chance it would fit. I did get my A5
Looking into a Q5 for the better half in a bid to hang on to the TTRS for a bit longer Spec in my intro thread. Shes worried about the size of it day to day. Anyone else got this is a daily for their misses How do they fare with it ferrying kids super market etc Thanks
My mrs drives it all the time and to be honest its not as big as you think it is. Its pretty much the same length and width as an A5 its just the height that makes it look bigger. The big mirrors are god though and parking sensors are definitely worth it I think the camera option just makes it more confusing to be honest.
exactly what the title says...

BMW has become an appearance company. From M turbocharging to M SUVs and SAVs to the M3 competition package that is just a set of cast wheels to the 335is that is just a body kit and an 8% software tune to the new 5 series that is basically a limousine 7 series theyve lost their way with driving enthusiasts. Ironically the one car that could have had club racing potential (the 1 series) has been given

Hello all. This is my first post here as you can tell. Im looking for some tips on what to really look for or what to avoid in a pre-owned MB. Right now ive narrowed it down to a gorgeous black 2008 C300 with 24k on it. Test drove it and loved it. Im not 100% on it but more around 95%. The other option is a 2008 A4 but after driving this today i dont think i could even look at myself if i picked up
intro area too just to get acquainted with the board. You are where I was few months back...and now I am behind the wheel of Cert. Pre-Owned 2008 C300 4matic with 30k on it....and absouletly loving it I posted something similar to you on here. Check out the replies. httpwww.benzworld.orgforumsw204...i-buy-any.html My brother has the 2010 A5 and I like the way it looks...but honestly speaking...audis
I would like to see blind spot cameras on the Model S. The rear camera screen shot could be divided into three separate screens. A center main screen showing the rear camera view and two smaller side screens on either side of the rear view showing the blind spots. This would be especially useful in inclement weather situations.
In my A5 the blind spot warning is managed via the rear camera. I know this because when the camera stopped working so did the blind spot warnings. Im not sure if theres any other sensors in the actual mirrors but the audi tech didnt think so. This being true Tesla could develop an audible blind spot warning triggered from the indicator using the rear view camera without any hardware modifications.
having seen some of the videos from the test drives I am struck by the lack of guide lines for the backing up camera. most European cars I have been driving for the past ten years with backing up cameras all have side and rear guide lines so you actually know when you back up if your trajectory would make you back into something like a parked car or a lamp post or similar. this is a great aide and

Hi all I do not own a BMW but am in the market for one. I have long been debating between BMW 3 series or audi
A5 and I think I have made up my mind. Now Im looking for a BMW to buy in the next 3 months tops. The deal I found is from this guy who is going through some financial hardships and is looking to cut down on expeneses. The car is garaged kept mint conditions and has 43k miles on it. Never
Looks like it has been possible on previous MB models. R171 Retrofit Electrically Folding Side Mirrors - Mercedes Benz SLK World Forum I have yet to find a pair listed on eBay. I would need folded heated with blind spot assist.
Im not sure if this is same for Mercedes but for the audi A5 I currently have the blind spot assist are quite complicated. The sensors are located in the rear bumper of car. Is there a reason why you didnt order it as options before the car is produced Depending on the model the options for the car in Canada are either standard with premium package or group together in another. All the ones listed above were included in the premium package for mine.
